The moment we checked in they were very informative of what to do and where to eat and go. Had lots of good laughs and they were very helpful on getting us a private driver to Hoi An
The staff was friendly and helpful about the touristic places to visit. We had a welcome drink and fruits. They prepared us a breakfast to go because we had to leave before the breakfast opening.
We found cockroaches in the room. The 2% fee to pay by credit card.

The staff at the hotel were lovely - always ready with a smile and warm greeting. Nothing was too much trouble and they were able to give us tips and advice for our time in Hue. Even when we arrived late, they went out of their way to find my Mum some fresh milk so she could have a cup of tea. Communication with them through booking.com was easy, quick and informative. The room was spacious and well-equipped - there were tea and coffee making facilities, a safe, a wardrobe with hangers. Beds were quite comfy. Bathroom had a shower and bath, but the plug didn't seal properly. Air con was good and wifi generally worked fine Breakfast was ok - there was a wide selection and plenty of fresh fruit. Food off the menu didn't always seem fresh. The location is a little out of the town, but within easy walking distance of the cafes, restaurants and shops. We were also able to walk to the Citadel and they helped us arrange a car from the airport, to visit the tombs that are out of the centre and to take us onto Hoi An, stopping at places on the way. (The drive to Hoi An was our favourite, especially the final stop at the Marble Mountain, which was an unexpected surprise.)
The bathroom was starting to show some wear and tear. On our first morning, after arriving late the night before, we were both woken by banging at about 6.30am. Housekeeping then knocked on our door at 8.30am, again waking us up. When I opened the door, in my pyjamas and clearly having just been woken up, rather than apologising, the lady just asked if she could get in our room! We made sure our 'do not disturb' sign was on the door after that! We mentioned this to the reception staff at check out - they were very apologetic and we have since received a very apologetic email, telling us that the manager has spoken to all the housekeeping staff. The lift was a little on the slow side.
The staft was nice, fine breakfast, when we mentioned the ants they took care of it, good value for money
The bathroom door could not close, there where ants in the bathroom, the day before we left they got wings and flew around the room. The sink and problems with the drain and also the shower.
