Friendly staff. good quality breakfast, comfortable beds great location for convention center
I thought there was food besides breakfast available.
The room was large, the bed was comfy and the staff was incredibly friendly.
You could tell that this was an older hotel and several things in the bathroom were either rusted or falling apart. Unfortunately I would have gladly paid an additional $50 to rent a room with a newer hotel. Literally a block over were brand new hotels in a great area that was blocked off from the homeless camp. There was a homeless camp right across the street from our hotel. We just didn’t feel completely safe. I was disappointed.
There were two bottles of water in the room. They put cookies and milk out in the evening, the breakfast was very good. The staff at the desk was very helpful.
The elevator was not working when we checked in, they did fix it later, but we had to haul luggage up the steps. The bed was hard, we woke up stiff.
Short walking distance to Toyota Center and red line metro.
Well, actually this was a very nice stay. I've encountered a problem, which was perfectly resolved by the facility, however not as fast as I've expected, but compensated. Breakfast was nice, yet crowdy with a variety of choice. Pool was suitable mostly for the children.
What could have been better? Smell in the room was terrible. I don't understand why - because of the conditioner or the room is old to have this kind of smell. And the bathroom... It was really old with old shower and toilet... So consider making some changes. Nevertheless, everything else was nice.
