Great washitsu room, ok onsen, if you can get the day when the outdoor rooftop one is for your gender in the evening. Old big classic hotel that caters to Japanese tourists.
This onsen town, where the cluster of hotels is, now is not really worth visiting, except as a place to stay in Kofu. Nothing against the actual fine hotel.

The garden was not lightened (broken system after he typhoon) while it is supposed to be a highlight
