The sleek en-suite shower room adds a spa-like feel, with stylish tiling and thoughtfully provided fresh towels and essentials, ensuring your stay is both comfortable and effortless from start to finish. As this is an old building and there is no lift, access is via stairs only. Room 9 is located on the 3rd floor and is therefore not wheelchair accessible. Nor is it suitable for guests who have difficulty climbing stairs. - PARKING INFORMATION: As our guesthouses do not have on-site parking or a reception, we’ve outlined convenient parking options nearby to ensure a seamless stay. Please note that Edinburgh’s city centre is subject to parking restrictions, including the Low Emission Zone (LEZ), so always check your vehicle’s compliance to avoid penalties. PARKING OPTION: On-Street Pay and Display Parking bay: The City of Edinburgh Council manages pay-and-display parking bays near both guest houses. These bays are located along major streets in the New Town, including George Street, Heriot Row, and surrounding areas. Metered hours: - Monday to Saturday: 8:30 a.m. – 6:30 p.m. - Sunday: 12:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. - Maximum stay: Usually 2 hours during metered hours (please check signage for exact limits). Free parking (outside metered hours): - Monday to Saturday: 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 a.m. (next day) - Saturday to Sunday: 6:30 p.m. – 12:30 p.m. - Sunday to Monday: 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 a.m. Important Note: When using pay-and-display parking bays, please ensure you park in the correct bay and do not park in bays marked for permit holders only, as this may result in a fine.
