Pros:Nothing to like.
Cons:Actually getting the car I reserved, getting a refund for the car that they were not able to provide, not having a 3 hour line at the check in counter.
Pros:The staff was friendly and quick (because I had already paid) once I got through the hour long line.
Cons:The car was raggedy and dirty and poorly maintained. I barley made it back to the airport. Last 10 miles with hazards on in Atlanta traffic sweating bullets with a warning light for the engine air filter. HORRIBLE. When I returned the vehicle I tried to alert the attendant the the vehicle had an issue because I didn’t want it to be someone else’s safety issue. She acted like she barely cared. I can only hope someone else didn’t get that car. They won’t be making it far.
Pros:The drop off was fine. The gentleman at the exit was very helpful. Everything else was awful.
Cons:The wait time on line was awful. I stood there for an hour and a half before I saw a woman behind the counter who greeted me by telling me she couldn't wait to finish with me so she could leave. The rest of the staff ( 1 woman and two men ) spent more time away from the counter than behind it - they are seriously short-staffed and the customers suffer. They need to be aware of any problems there are with a car before they hand it over to a customer - our 1st car had a "check engine" light. There needs to be someone in the area a car is picked up from so that if there is a problem with the car when you get into it you don't have to drag your luggage back up to the counter and then back down again. The worst problem is that the woman behind the counter didn't tell me I had to call their Emergency Roadside department and report the problem. Because of her ineptitude, I wasn't able to get any consideration from Dollar because they had already charged my credit card. If I never have to deal with them again I will be thrilled. All Dollar will do is send me a $25 off a future rental that is only good for a year - if I ever get it at all. All this aggravation for almost $400 for half a day Saturday with a return of 10AM on Wednesday - highway robbery.
Pros:Staff was efficient, car clean and well maintained.
Cons:We waited in line for over 90 minutes to pick up our car. It was horrible! The desk person was very efficient when we got to the front of the line. There should have been way more workers helping. 90 minutes is ridiculous.
Pros:Inordinately long wait time. After waiting nearly two hours, they made me pay an extra $20/day so that I could rent a larger car and avoid waiting another hour.
Pros:The 4 hour wait time was an issue. Also, company overbooked reservations. We were lucky enough to get a car, but other behind us in line didn’t get the car they paid for.
Cons:This is the 2nd time we’ve been in this situation with Dollar rental. We’ve paid for reservations and they had run out of cars. Absolutely will not use Dollar again.

Cons:The car was too small. I was very uncomfortable. I thought the car I rented was larger.
Pros:The staff seemed to work the best they could under the current state of our country.
Cons:The vehicle was not in the best condition. It was in terrible need of major repairs and was difficult to drive on the highway due to alignment issues.
Pros:I did not like anything because I had to wait for ever. I did not like rental place because I was dissatisfied with vehicle that was given to me. If I had wanted and SUV I would have requested one.
Cons:If I requested a car one should have been available.

Cons:When I arrived they did have the car I ordered. The sales rep went to the manager and asked to give me an upgrade from the back. The manager said I had to wait until a customer brought another car back? I didnt order. He said the website said they did not have to give me the car I picked out. The manager african amrrican gave a black woman a car and men who walked in I sat there and men and black woman came in and they got cars. I felt discriminated against. White woman. The car they gave me was dirty. I waited and waited with others getting cars. I called Enterprise and leftca medsage for them to call. They didnt. Cathy Nelson

Pros:Once the regional manager took action, the rest of the process was pretty much flawless. But of course it should never have come to that.
Cons:Arrived and no cars were available, and with no advance notice. I was not the only one, either. I was offered no options whatsoever until I involved a regional manager, after which they were finally able to pick up a car from another location, after a delay.
Cons:The car I reserved was not available when I arrived. Kind of useless to make a reservation.
Pros:Good selection of vehicles. Staff not forthcoming with much info - example website appeard to say return car at specific time. Had I returned car as website indicated, I would have been charged an additional day. After several confusing answers the gal finally admitted car needed to be returned no later than 8am so we wouldnt be charged. Note to self, do your research and do NOT assume anything with them or else be prepared to be surprised when you get your final statement! Do not plan on using this Hertz again.
