I would suggest that they disclose that there is a security deposit up front and not just in the fine print. This should be stated upon the main page or at least when the total due amount comes up.8,0 Very Good

Cons:
I was told this van would have no issues driving into Canada. When I picked it up, they told me I would be turned around at the border because it wasn't recognied as a "true vehicle". I called twice over the past month to confirm this would work and both times they said yes. Ended getting a different van from a different company with no issues.8,0 Very Good

Did not have a vehicle available for me. The only vehicle on the lot had expired tags. Ended up paying double my quoted rate at a different rental agency in order to get a vehicle.5,2 Fair

Rented car on website til Saturday night.. when I checked in I was not told about how they charge til Monday no matter what and that there is no after hour drop off .. she did not extend the rental until Monday instead she told me to call Saturday to do it.. called Saturday and spoke to Angela and found out I can’t extend over The phone because I rented from kayak and I would have to come in Monday when I drop off and get the late fee waved. Just felt like this was a run around and won’t go to kayak or hertz again to rent a care.10,0 Wonderful

Rental specialist Marquis, was polite, professional, overall he was one of the best I have seen in a long time.Cons:
I had a great rental experience, to start my vacation my drive was hassle free. my trip was wonderful, my return of the car was hassle free too. Oh yeah Hertz even provided a Lyft ride to get me home.2,0 Poor

They found another facility for me to rent from.Cons:
I booked the car 4 or 5 hours before pick up and was never given any notice that they may not have a vehicle to rent. Then I had to drive across town in rush hour traffic to try to get to another hertz before they closed. I made it with only 2 minutes to spare.Michigan Van Rental
