Waited over an hour for a car that smelled like cigarettes had holes in the seeds and was absolutely disgusting. Do you have one person working the counter and 12 people in line.6,8 Okay

Pros:
I liked the fact that I received a hybrid vehicle for my long trip. The gas savings were great.Cons:
Both at pick up and drop off the door had a sign that the attendant would return in a few minutes. The car, when received was externally very dirty and had what looked like tape residue on some of the windows. This made inspection difficult, so much so that I missed a chip in the windshield thinking it was a dead bug. Luckily, it had already been reported. Additionally, I had reserved a mid-size car and received a compact. Since it was a hybrid and I was going on a long trip, I didn't complain, but I'm pretty sure that I over paid for a compact car.8,4 Very Good

After making the reservation on-line and receiving confirmation almost 2 weeks in advance, I attempted to call the pick-up office....no answer on 3 occasions, even the morning of the pick-up. When I arrived no full size SUV's available and very rude associate. I waited for an hour and a half. On return I asked the associate to call a cab and was told he could give me the #, but couldn't call. Will never use Budget again.10,0 Wonderful

They should tell you there is a MANDATORY $200.00 HOLD to be added to your total and placed on your credit card. You can nor pay with a debit card without a create check also.2,0 Poor

Cons:
I somehow booked the wrong location, 30 min from the airport. They would not let me change it unless I would pay $155. So I had to pay $80 for Ubers and it was very inconvenient. I’m not sure I’ll ever use Hertz again and will probably book direct in the future vs using KayakCar hire locations in or near Pell City
