Intermediate SUV

I originally rented with the store on N Main. Online i requested a Nissan Rogue, upon arrival I was informed a Rogue was not available and was given a Mini Cooper, when in NO WAY is same size as a Rogue. I asked Jacob if there was anything else of the same size. He said no. We asked if he could check the store on Garth Rd. He said I could check by calling. Now, what kind of customer service is this? He couldn't even give me the number. Since it was only a few minutes away, we told him we would just go over there, but to keep my confirmation. Once we arrived at the Garth Rd. store, we were immediately greeted. The young man informed us they only had cars available, but immediately offered to call the next closest store to see if they had a Rogue or similar for us. He even made sure I would get the same price. He was SO helpful. He gave the the names of the individual who would be helping me. When we finally arrived at the 3rd store, we were greeted by Brian. He totally took care of me. Price was in fact slightly cheaper. The last two gentlemen showed what TRUE customer service is. Jacob could learn a lot from them.

Intermediate SUV

KAYAK
No airport shuttle. Pick up and drop off was inconvenient. Promised to reimburse for uber to replace shuttle. I submitted receipt but never heard back. Will not recommend to others. Not worth the savings.

AVR Houston is not located at the airport. Trying to make arrangements for pickup was a bit challenging. We had an early morning flight and asked about after hours returns. We were told they had a contract with a local hotel for drop off and the hotel shuttle ran every 15 minutes. We arrived at just after 5:00 am at the hotel. The front desk person was on a shuttle run and informed us that the hotel shuttle only ran every hour and we could not leave the hotel until after 6:00 am. We almost missed our flight.

Pros:

The van I expected was not available the day of pick up. I did receive an email saying my rental is ready for pick-up at 11 a.m. the day before. I was dropped off and never received a call or email saying my van is no longer available. I had to rent a vehicle from a different vendor for triple the price of the van I requested.

Cons:

Communication to your customers. You sent the initial email saying that the my van was available for pick up yet NO ONE bother to notify me when it is no longer available.

Pros:

While I was on my way to pickup the vehicle I called the facility to let them know instead of 5 I am expecting to arrive there at 530pm. I was told by the staff member on phone that they close at 4pm and she was told by her boss not to wait and asked me to come next morning at 8 am if still of interest.

Cons:

I will let other traveller's to note even when the booking is accepted for 5pm doesn't necessarily means the facility will be open
