When they overbook cars...NothingI made my reservation a week in advance & they called me at 8:30a on the morning I was to pick the car up to tell me nothing was available. I had to cancel my reservation. I called Enterprise directly & booked another location only to arrive at 12p for pick up but there were no cars available. Never again!!!

No plan for a hurricanePick up was easy and the car was great. Gas mileage was super for my long trip. Enjoyed a comfortable ride.Someone didn’t think about the airport being closed when they put the drop box at the hertz counter. Budget was allowing their customers to leave keys in car, but I was told that I would be charged an unlock fee if I did that. So, I’m going to have to wait for airport to reopen so I can drive 45 minutes each way to take keys back to the hertz counter. will not be using hertz again.

miss ashley was wonderful.. very re-assuring on the chance my flight was delayed that some arrangement would be made to still get access to my rental.. sure enough, flight delayed.. called to advise and scott said no worries he would be there.. miss ashley again was on my return day gave me precise directions back to the airport.. there she was like the mother bird bringing in her flock.. couldn't have had better or more pleasant service..

I have been debited for a upgrade about which I was not informed. At pick up I was asked whether a Nissan (Altimate ?) was ok instead of the ordered Toyota Corolla . I did not know this type of car and it was not clear to me that this meant a price increase of $ 117 Later on back home, I found out the extra price. Moreover I have been charged for late return since I picked up at 09.39 pm and returned the car at 2.49 am although I have been charged for an extra day as well !!!! POOR SERVICE

Gas tank only had 1/4 tank. Rep told me I could fill it up and get reimbursed if I brought it back with more which is not true. Car smelled like BO and ran very rough with a rattle. Rep at return site was unfriendly. Terrible experience that cost way too much.

The budget rental car and the 3rd party vendor (K), should have a better form of communication to ensure people do not reserve a rental car that is not available.

Make Copy of Rental Agreement Before Using OptionaClean car, very nice attendants at the Budget desks in FLO and CHSRecently I rented a car in Florence SC (FLO) and drove one-way and dropped off in Charleston SC (CHS). Once I got home to Alaska, I noticed my credit card was charged a pending fee of ~$700.00 vs. the $53.59 on the signed rental agreement. I was told by the Budget attendant, who checked in my rental car in CHS that all I needed to do was drop off my rental agreement in the Drop Box at the Budget desk. That's what I did. The waiting line was long at the Budget desk, so it was nice to have the Drop Box so I wouldn't be late for my departing flight. I called the 1-800 customer service # to get this cleared up, and it was immediately taken care of so that my credit card was never charged the ~$700.00. A little bit of a hassle, but Budget was very responsive. Next time, I will make a copy of my rental agreement before I use the Drop Box.

Better selection of cars...did not have Altima that I reserved, nor did they have any of that class...only choices were a Jetta that was very dirty and had bald tires, and a Corrolla that was ok...took the Corrolla despite the smaller size.
