I had scheduled my pickup for the city of Palm Desert and once we arrived for the rental car they told us it was in Indio. I had the confirmation showing the location for pickup SAID palm desert but for whatever reason they said differently. I know it could have been a glitch or something out of their hands but it was just inconvenient for our plans since we need the rental while our car is being fixed in the shop from an accident.

The car was very clean, thank you to the guys in the back. Anastasia was pleasant and cordial, should be commended for her out going personality. Also kudos to the lady manager who made the transaction very smooth. One of the very best experiences EVER! Yes! I will use them again and again

Did not have car I ordered. Tried to get me to take smaller car. I refused. Was given a hard time by salesman and then he went away. Tried to speak to manager, was ignored. Staff very unfriendly. I had to leave without a car. Was a disaster. I went to Avis and was treated as a customer should be. Rented a car to my choice for 2 weeks.more honest treatment of a customer. A manager that would listen to my problem. A less hostile attitude. Have used Enterprise in the past, would never use again.

The entire check-in process was very quick (under 15 minutes). The staff was very friendly and I'm extremely grateful that the pickup truck option was available. The truck was excellent. I'm very pleased with my whole experience.Beware that Enterprise does not necessarily pick you up. The corporate website says "within 10 miles, non-airport." But, what you'll find is that the 10 mile radius is not followed. Instead, each Enterprise location goes by MUNICIPAL BOUNDARIES. So, even if you're within 10 miles of an Enterprise location, but across a suburb/town line, they will not pick you up. That was disappointing.

I originally rented a cargo van. However, the previous renter had not returned the vehicle so I was given a Chevy truck. This Hertz location closed at 12:00 and about :30 into our trip to Flagstaff the AC stopped working. We traveled in 110+ heat with no AC. The next day I tried to get through to customer service, but gave up after being on hold for over an hour. I then went to the the next closest Hertz to see if I could swap our vehicle. They did not have anything comparable to haul our items from my sons dorm room. So we traveled another 300+ miles in 107+ heat with no AC.

The SUV I rented more than 8 days before the pick up date , wasn't ready and i called 3 times. they never called me until i was 3 hours late for my pickup time , someone told me I have to rent a small car drive it to another location and pick up my desired type of car. The car smells cigarette. have rough sound from the back while driving. I tried to cancel the reservation but the lady said she can't and it has to be through her manager because I paid already for the rental, I decided to take the SUV as it was too late for me to change my plans. Adding assault to the injury ,when I returned the SUV washed in and out and full tank, the guy told me I have to pay 150$ tax , so I told him I paid everything ahead of my rental and he was .... oh let me see what I can do... as he is doing me a favor by waiving taxes, so unprofessional and annoying.

The price was good but doesn't matter if there are no cars to drive.They completely bailed on me! They let me book a car but told me in the morning they didn't have any available. Instead of getting one for me and calling back, they closed for the weekend.

The location was good.Horrible experience in Palm Desert Hertz. Terrible non-responsive customer service - Luis would never return a call, nor would the manager. Given a car with a smashed bumper and engine light on. Extra charges secretly added on. Go someplace else!

Was very good at pick up, and drop off , close to the airport, and the shuttle is convenientThey charge you too much for gas, almost more than I paid for the car rental, i used only quarter of tank, and they charged me $70. There is no specific way to measure the gas used, whatever the person who check the car decide what to pay, so I recommend to put gas before the drop off

I was not notified until I picked up the car that there would be a $200 deposit. The car windows and monitor were dirty. The rental agent was not clear on his words about another card. I tried 2 credit cards but with the additional $200 they were declined. I left the office and went home to call Avis. Gabriel at Avis recommended that I could use my debit card. That was not told to me at the rental office. When I went back to the rental office I spoke to the agent about the use of a debit card. His reply was the same response, Do I have an another card. When I asked about the deposit, he pointed me to a notice above my head. It was not on my email. This made me 2 hours late plus the frustration of not getting the car on time. Very poor customer service.

Was able to secure a same day reservation through Kayak with ease when my car broke down.At Avis, manager said there were no cars available for my reservation. Said next time, I needed to plan further ahead. I explained I was renting out of neccessity not pleasure. He seemed put out by the fact that I needed a car. I cancelled and went elsewhere.

Steering was off4 door, plenty of space, the pickup dropofff associate was very nice and efficient.On the freeway, the car drove very oddly. It was hard to keep the car straight; something with the steering or tires? There were moments when I was extremely uncomfortable on narrow stretches of high speed freeways. I explained to the associate upon dropoff and he attributed it to the size of the car. However, I have rented many economy sized cars and never felt that before. In the end, I would come back again to Avis but be more selective by test driving the car first.
