Paid for many days without a car

Cons: Car wouldn't start and it was towed away one day after reporting the problem without providing a replacement. I contacted your local customer service and were referred to several other offices in succession, who communicated with us until, we assume, they went home for the day leaving us without a car and a solution. There are four layers of subcontractors for this rental so nobody wants to take responsibility for my time without an actual car.at least I got a car in time to go to the airport (and return the car) but it involved a 4 hour round trip to pick it up. My advice would be to avoid aggregators like Kayak and CarTrawler when renting outside of the USA and try to deal directly with the company renting the car.
