Pros:
Office staff very friendly and helpful. Excellent car. Reasonable price.Cons:
Would be nice if I could drop off at KCOE airport with a reasonable relocation fee. I normally rent Hertz, which is located at Resort Aviation - but had to use Thrifty because no Hertz cars available at airport. This entailed paying for cab rides to and from the airport to pickup and drop-off our car - kind of expensive - but less expensive than the relocation fee Thrifty quoted. Just would be move convenient, since I fly into KCOE often - besides the extra cost, I have to load, unload, reload our luggage.9,2 Wonderful

Pros:
Staff was friendly and pick-up/drop-off was easy.Cons:
I don't think a Subaru Outback is comparable to an Intermediate SUV that I ordered, but they didn't have anything larger. They charge almost $13 per day for an extra driver.8,0 Very Good

Pros:
Would have been a great deal if I could have taken the car to my destination.Cons:
Dollar and Thrifty have a limited radius they will allow you to drive. This is not communicated to any of the bargain shopping search sites (kayak, priceline, etc). I had to cancel my reservation and make a last minute rental with a different company, FOR TWICE THE COST.2,0 Poor

Cons:
It was recommended to me that I upgrade my rental to a mid size car as Spokane was experiencing bad weather. While it was a good idea to upgrade the car I was given was not only known to be terrible in the snow (according to one of their own employees out in the lot) but the tires on the car were trash. I am from a state that receives regular snow fall and I am used to driving a regular front wheel drive vehicle in bad weather. The issue here was the tread on the tire was minimal. After a week of slip sliding around on flat roads and being the only car to do so I called Dollar with my frustrations and was told that the car and tires were fine and it had been inspected. Sidenote the car needed an oil change and had less then 8 percent oil life left on it at pick up. I returned the car and went with Enterprise. Still got a regular front wheel drive car and still drove on the same roads of snowy Spokane but no sliding because the tires actually had decent tread. Never again will I rent from Dollar.10,0 Wonderful

Pros:
I was able to find a great deal thru Kayak despite there being very low rental car availability. The car company honored the deal, and it was a good trip.Cons:
Not really a negative, just inconvenient: had to get a ride to the middle of town to pick up and return the car.10,0 Wonderful

Pros:
Good car, helpful Dollar representativeCons:
It wasn't clear upon my reservation through Kayak that the rental location was offsite from the airport. I had to spend $45 in Uber fees to be transported between locations for pickup and drop off. Most popular car type | Intermediate |
