The sales rep wasn’t pleasant, seemed bother Ed to have to help. Don’t think she smiled once. Wasn’t able to get a car because I don’t have a credit card. I guess this is common knowledge but it wasn’t for me.
Wasn't notified that a car would not be there about a hour before pick up time. They were not going to have any cars for about 3 days. I'll use Enterprise for now on.
They called me at 1115 and said my rental was ready, I told her I would be there shortly, she never told me they closed at 12. I made it there at 1201 and she told me they were closed. I made this reservation back in March. They didn't care that my rental was for a drive to Miami to get on a cruise ship. Me nor my family will ever use them again.
Rental was for my daughter's homecoming parade, her senior year, (convertible car for just a 24-hour period). I called 5 times PRIOR to pick-up date to confirm; all is confirmed for your rental, I heard every time I called and spoke with an 800 rental associate.. Received the local address as well. Day of pick-up, my son and I drove to location, tried to call the local location about 5-6 times to speak with the representative on the local car-lot to confirm my rental convertible was there. No answer, ever. Called Budget 800 number again; they could NOT reach local lot to confirm. When my son and I arrived, the ADDRESS was INCORRECT. The 1100 street addres was a local bank. When we found the lot, 1.5 miles further up the road at 2030 street address NOT 1100 street address, the employees were in the store, but would not speak with me. IT was 5:10pm, 10 minutes after closing. The convertible rental WAS NO WHERE to be found. Called Budget 800 again, they had NO explaination, didn't know where the car could be; "it's not there? Are you sure? We can't track it sir. We're sorry." Drove 250 miles, (125 one-way) to get this car, after all the confirmations, address confirmations etc., etc., this was one of the WORST rental experiences I have ever had, hands-down. Will not book thru this system again.
