Barry and Mina were very welcoming hosts (and always replied swiftly and helpfully to emails before our visit), who gave us plenty of helpful advice, providing street maps, and even arranging a peninsula tour for us with an excellent guide they knew. The continental breakfasts were very good (lovely fresh fruit platter!), and we even got to enjoy them in the enclosed courtyard. We were hospitably invited to join Barry and Mina and their friends in the bar/games room upstairs, but sadly were too tired to take them up on it! The house is quirky, full of interest, rooms were (if quite dark due to the trees in the little garden) spacious and comfortable with a sofa, nest of tables, minibar and fridge and wall safe, plus the usual tea/coffee facilities. The location was quiet, yet easily accessible by short walk or taxi to the Green Point promenade and the V&A Waterfront.
Can't think of anything!
I liked the tropical feel of the property the most. The room was very clean and cozy.
I think everything about the property is nice. Barry is a great person to talk too. I feel the breakfast should have been a little elaborate. Whatever was served was good but a little variety would be amazing.
Excellent moments spent in Jambo. The host are really friendly and they give good tips of the city Liu ya. For example they told us the best day to go to Table Mountain. Every day they said to us the weather. The bar was unbelievable and we share great moments in it. Breakfast really nice and with the best bread of the day. Silence in the rooms allows a good sleeping night. We also appreciate the host skills with the guitar. A really peaceful place with good vibes and good people. Highly recommended.
We love everything.
The hosts was extremely attentive.
The hosts were amazing, the place was lovely and quaint and in a good location close to the waterfront. Would definitely recommend!
