Location Comfortable beds
Windows do not close well and the frequent violent Capetown wind howls in the rooms preventing sleep
Room 5 afforded us amazing views from the floor-to-ceiling windows of the bay, Lion’s Head and Table Mountain. Gorgeous room, which we couldn’t fault. Jacuzzi bath was nice.
Somewhere to plug in the kettle without having to un-plug some other plugs by the t.v. Bathrobes would have been a nice touch. Water in the fridge should be provided at least for day 1. Then we’d have had a bottle to re-fill from the tap.
Very good location
Cleanliness was very poor with dirty bed sheets and towels (old) Not welcoming at all with zero interaction or help from management Breakfast buffer below average with not enough quantities
The guest house is heavenly
What is their not to like. It‘s a great location in Camps Bay. Has wonderful facilities. The family that are the caretakers are wonderful and so kind and helpful. The management is superb and ready to help make the best of your time in Cape Town. Plus the rooms and the beds are amazing.
That I couldn’t spend more time there. Honestly, the only issue is parking is a bit of an adventure because of the narrow street. Make sure you are good at maneuvering your car into tight spaces. But that is really not in the property’s control.
