Pros: The view is magnificent. Balconies are wide and nice to spend an evening on. The design of the whole hotel is marvelous, from the custom lamps in the lobby and to the tree stumps as bed nightstands. In september of 2018 it is freshly renovated hugely under-starred hotel (4 stars is more fitting), where I absolutely recommend to stay. This is family-held business with huge attention to details in everything that can make your stay more pleasant - hosts are great and interesting people to have a great chat with. Braies lake is 15 mins away by car, Antholzer - 30, Cortina - 60. Breakfast among standard things includes honey in honeycombs, freshly baked bread and sophisticated desserts. Owner's wine card is also great. I promise this is not a paid review - just me and my wife are under strong pleasant impression.
Cons: The only minor thing is that the soundproofing between bathroom and the living space is a bit weak.

Pros: The personal was very kind,helpfull and keep smiling.They try to solved all our requests.The food was very delicious. The clean service was perfekt. The wellness was very pleasant after skiing. The village Villabasse is very nice place with nice supermarket,small shops and traditional restaurants.It is close to ski areas 3zinnen and also KronePlaza. We love this accommodation and we will come back for sure. We highly recommend Vitalhof Hirben.

Cons: -Opening times of wellness facilities are limited, which is ok on beautiful days but could be better on bad-weather days. For example, the pool closes at 10 AM when breakfast finishes at 9:30 AM and only reopens at 3 PM. Wellness only opens 4-7 PM, with dinner starting between 7-8 PM. -Not all saunas are available every day.

Pros: The breakfast was simple yet delicious, wonderful and tasty. The hotel was up high on a hill with great views, very peaceful and quiet. The staff was very personable and friendly, they cared about our stay and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed and even made us something not on the menu for dinner. A very nice family run hotel that made us feel like family. Great little place to stay for peace and quiet, yet close to the cute little town of Toblach and great hiking in the Dolomites.
Cons: No complaints, but it's always nice to have gluten free bread options:)

Only 1 km from the Rienz ski area, Hotel Stauder is a 5-minute walk from Dobbiaco town centre. It boasts rooms with a balcony, a free wellness area and free ski storage. Pros: Rooms were amazing (303 at least). The materials (wood, stone tiles, lightning, ceramics, etc) and lightning, plus the confort and size, are really great. And the balcony is large and cousy. Staff was very supportive planning your daily trips with great tips. Very useful. The location is a great starting point if you’re driving to nearby attractions.
Cons: There’s this “Christof” concept all around the place. Which is fine. But having house bottled wine mentioning on large characters in the label that “Christof says you shouldn’t be drinking this wine if you’re a terrorist, racist or an asshole”, is just over the top. Howcome are these negative messages being raised when you’re having a pleasant moment? Makes no sense. Evening dinning is also on the boring side. The concept of having 4 different dishes is absolutely fine, but the room ambient and table arrangement doesn’t provides a chilling and relaxed moment, people way to close together with some heavy dark browns and red decor around (maybe that’s just me). Pool water temperature was not warm enough.

Pros: Location was really nice, only 10 mins from Lago di Braies by car. Breakfast which was included in price was really tasty with big variety of food. Also chilling zone was really on the high level. Sauna and pool, really nice after a long day.
Cons: Sauna and pool could've been open a bit longer. We came back around 19:00-19:30 after the day full of attractions so basically we had only a short moment to try it, as around 19:30:20:00 they were closing chilling zone.

Pros: My partner and I had a lovely stay! The hotel is lovely and clean, the rooms are comfortable and had a nice view out to the mountains. The staff were attentive and very helpful with tips and ideas of things to do. Parking was easy and the pool was a lovely after a long day of hiking!

Pros: Amazing, beautiful hotel. Friendly staff, especially Sophia who greeted us on our first evening with a friendly smile and a drink on the house. The breakfast buffet is excellent and the evening meals are superb, the wine choice to go along with the menu is also brilliant, we were never disappointed. Rooms are bright and spacious and it has to be one of the nicest showers, especially after hiking all day. Great place to stay

Pros: Restiling very smart, modern, with the latest technologies but at the same time the property kept the spirit and charm of the region. The room we had last night was fantastic, large, super bathroom with a large walking shower; the walls and floor, entirely covered with natural wood offered the perfume of the forest during all the stay. The dinner was good with a large selection of appetizers, tasty spelt risotto with local cheese, well cooked vegetables for those who do not eat meat and a very nice, smiling young blond lady served without stress many tables. An excellent place where to stay in order to visit Dobbiaco area and close by region.

The whole hotel is clean, delicate, gentle, really nice, as the family who runs the place. The spa is amazing with a big jacuzzi, outdoor. you can sit in the hot water and have the snow on your head while the surrounding is mother nature with big mountains. Beautiful. Pros: I arrived at 9pm after 12 hours traveling within Europe. The lovely lady upgraded me to the signature room to make my day ended amazingly brilliant! The room has a tub and trees... every details is just beautiful — dream room and it’s a suite! View was amazing too. I had very nice dinner and wine before got the surprise. The food was definitely star level (in their own romantic sphere restaurant)! Hotel has indoor and outdoor warm water well pool. Surrounded by mountains... it was dream stay. I only wish I could stay longer... but the hotel doubtlessly made my business trip so different! Love it! Will surely make a leisure trip back there.

Pros: superb spa facilities, heated in- and served outdoor pool, saunas and so on. the two suites inhabited were spacious, perfectly clean and beds comfy. the whole interior is lovely designed with thought to the detail. if you, as we, didn't get pointed to dine in the saloon, the à la carte restaurant and a very polite waiter served very tasty dishes at reasonable prices.
Cons: along with the prices, expectations are higher than in other places. not all of the staff could meet those. the friendliness and helpfulness varied a lot between shifts. as a spoiled neurotic, there are sure more fun places to go. the location is somewhat remote of the village center, though ok if you're mobile or take the bus in front of the hotel.

Pros: When we arrived they placed a small personal card at a table in the restaurant, while we stayed there we had the same table reserved the whole time. It was an incredible touch. Loved it, the people, the food!

Pros: We recommend this hotel very warmly! Very clean, warm attitude, excellent food and there is a nice and clean sauna. In addition, they stored our bags for few days for free , helped us a lot with logistics to fit our plans (taxi, early breakfast and sandwiches for lunch) There is a beautifull park (free entrance for hotel guests) and a river very close to the hotel. We even saw a squirrel!
Cons: A bit far from the center of Villabasa (15 minutes walk), but still a highly recommend place, don't miss it!!!

Cons: bed in the room was not very comfortable. it looks like a queen bed but it has 2 separate single-mattresses. Also, the hotel itself is not located at the best location, for example it's 3 hrs drive from the Marmolada mountain-top and the attractions in that area. it's relatively close to Cortina so in the summer this location is probably better.

The wellness centre consists of a Turkish bath, a Finnish sauna and a hot tub, while massages are on request. Guests can get to the property with their own horse. Hubertushof is well placed for hiking, horse riding and cycling excursions, and bikes can be rented on site. Ski passes and ski classes can also be booked on site. Dobbiaco centre is a 5-minute drive from the hotel, while the Helm ski area is 10 km away. San Candido is reachable in less than 10 minutes by car.

Pros: The apartment is recently built fresh and modern, spacious bathroom had a bath as well as a shower. We were able to wash our clothes in their laundry. Having the supermarket downstairs was convenient but being centrally located in the main square above a restaurant also meant that it was quite a noisy location. Recommend the restaurant for their pizzas.
Cons: We stayed for 4 nights. We had 1 toilet roll, 1 dishwasher tablet and no dish washing liquid. There was soap in a dispenser in the shower but this ran out after 1 day. We asked the staff to restock the supplies but they said it was not possible - not their policy they said. It is such a small gesture for them to provide these supplies and would only have cost them a few euros when the total bill was over 400 euros but an annoying inconvenience for us to have to buy boxes of dishwasher tablets etc that we end up throwing most away. If Ariston are serious about giving their guests a good experience they need to review this policy. The internet access was insecure and poor.

Pros: The location of the apartment was just perfect, in the middle of Dobbiako, very close to lakes Braies,Dobbiako, Mizurina and Lardo. Apartment has been spotlessly clean and well organized. We booked the apartment with two bedrooms and it even had two bathrooms, even though it hasn't been mentioned during our booking. Alessandra has been very friendly, helpful and polite and the Welness she recommended to us has been absolutely AMAZING! There was a closed parking garage on the ground floor.Also, there is a really nice supermarket on the first floor of the building.

Located between Dobbiaco centre and Dobbiaco Nuovo, Hotel Laurin offers a peaceful location overlooking the Dolomites. Its traditional wellness area includes a sauna, hot tub and Turkish bath. Rooms are spacious and cosy with a seating area, carpeted floors and wood furniture. Each one comes with a satellite TV and a private bathroom with bathrobe, hairdryer and toiletries. Laurin's restaurant is open for breakfast and dinner and serves Mediterranean cuisine and South Tyrol specialities. You will find a BBQ in the garden, where there is also table tennis and a children's playground. Guests have free parking and are just a 30-minute drive from Cortina d'Ampezzo. The nearest bust stop is only 20 metres away for buses to Dobbiaco centre, San Candido and Cortina. The Nordic Arena is just 50 metres away.

Pros: Warm service and friendly people who are open to serve customers' needs. We came to Toblach for cross-country skiing and the place could't be better located for that. In addition, the spa & sauna department is nice and served us well after the long day of skiing. We also enjoyed excellent meals at the breakfast buffet and dinner table. Pros: The hotel is old but it is very clean, the room was very clean and you can hear a waterfall from outside, so that was very relaxing. The door to our balcony was broken, no big deal we just couldn't go outside.

Pros: Hotel is located right by the small river and sitting on the balkony with the mountains view listening to the water was really relaxing. Hotel looks traditional from outside but inside it is clean, spacious and modern. Our room was huge and comfortable. The village where hotel is situated is close to lake Braies and can be a good base to explore natural beauties of this amazing region. Free parking on premises is a plus. Couple of supermarkets are just around the corner.
Cons: Shampoo and shower gel in the shower would be useful :)

Pros: Very friendly staff, spacious and soundproof room. Shower with rainfall! Breakfast was amazing, as well as dinner. Hotel is very close to the main sights in the Dolomites.

Pros: The food was excellent. The Spa was excellent. The location is excellent. The cleanliness. The staff was very friendly. Also worth mentioning are the common areas to just sit after the dinner and read the newspapers. In general very nice feeling beeing at this place.
Cons: The only negative side was the room itself. The room was quite dark because of the small window, basic and kind of claustrophobic.

Pros: Rooms are clean and comfortable; very friendly and helpful staff, especially thankful to the front desk managers who are so kind to take us with our bulky luggage to the train station. Hotel restaurant serves delicious set dinner at a reasonable price, good service too.

Pros: The staff were extremely helpful and friendly and helped to organise the transport of our luggage whilst we cycled. We hadn‘t booked the evening meal but were invited for an aperitif and offered to join the gala dinner, which was beautifully cooked and presented (5 courses) for €20 per person. The breakfast was also excellent. The pool and sauna area were clean and very inviting. We wish we could have stayed longer.

Pros: Loved the ease in finding the hotel along with how nice the receptionist was. The breakfast that was included was delicious. The room was comfortable and had plenty of space.
Cons: The owner double charged me on accident and tried to reimburse me via their Italian bank but due to transaction fees and misunderstandings I was never fully reimbursed for my stay, about 35$ USD short. I would recommend in either being 100% sure before charging or have the ability to reimburse via Apple Pay, pay pal or some other quicker and efficient choice. Also, if there is a room available for upgrade with a view of the mountains vice a parking lot why wouldn't the owner upgrade us for free if no one ended up staying in it? It costs them nothing extra and would have allowed for a much better experience and view. The location of the hotel is decent but we wish we would have stayed in Cortina or somewhere a little closer to the mountains, this hotel is located on a highway and still a drive or long cycle to the mountains.
