The Boutique-Hotel Erbguths Villa am See-Adults only lies on the banks of Lake Constance, in the village of Hagnau. It offers free WiFi internet, wellness treatments and a large garden. The spacious rooms and suites of the Boutique-Hotel Erbguths Villa am See-Adults only feature Art Nouveau-style furnishings, a flat-screen TV and CD player. Bathrobes, slippers and weighing scales are also supplied. Guests can sunbathe in the garden, relax in the glass pavilion or visit the hotel’s sauna (for a fee). A rich breakfast buffet is provided each morning on the first floor, offering a beautiful view of the lake and the Swiss Alps.
Pros: Nice quiet Location by the lake. good hospitality, good breakfast Well designed and decorated rooms.
Cons: The suite is garden view only.
Pros: Beautiful small hotel, run by a family who obviously love what they are doing. It manifests itself in everything: The decoration, the comfort, the beautiful breakfast, the personal and attentive service. The location is wonderful - just across the lake (you can simply jump and swim at any time), near the peer where the boats leave to Mainau Flower Island and to other towns around the lake, and yet very quiet. There are also some excellent restaurants in walking distance. The room was spacious, very comfortable, sported an espresso machine, had a beautiful view of the lake and a nice balcony. Breakfast was delicious and the coffee excellent. This hotel is really a work of love.
Cons: My stay was too short!
Pros: Beautiful place, incredible decor and exceptionally maintained. Perfect location for summer holidays too. Loved the couple who run this place. Very welcoming and friendly. Breakfast spread was really nice. Highly recommend this place for solo travelers, family and friends.
Pros: The people in this dream hotel are the best in the world !! Personal attention and super service is unique. The boiled eggs for breakfast were painted with a portrait for each gast, WOW, SO SWEET!!!
Cons: To bad we have to wait till next year to be there again............ we will rent the complete hotel next time ;-)
Pros: The most I like it was the room, very clean, comfortable and very nice see lake, also restaurant very good food, relaxing atmosphere
Pros: Location, rooms and gardens decorations, hospitality & breakfast
Cons: The Suite , is so nice but hardly see the lake.
Pros: Clean room, comfortable bed, nice host, great view
Cons: No aircon, but they provided fan
Pros: The staff very friendly breakfast superb
Cons: No air con

Each of the bright rooms at Seevilla features a flat-screen satellite TV and private bathroom with hairdryer. A fresh breakfast buffet is available every morning, and the hotel restaurant serves a selection of international and regional specialities. There is a range of restaurants within a 5-minute radius of the hotel. The Bodensee spa in Konstanz is located 12 km from the hotel, and can be reached via the Konstanz-Meersburg ferry. Other popular activities in the area include hiking and cycling, and the golf club in Konstanz is a 45-minute drive away. Uhldingen-Mühlhofen Train Station is 3.5 km from Seevilla. There is free private parking available at the accommodation.
Pros: Nice beautiful room and hotel, friendly and helpful people at the service desk and in the restaurant. Very good diner buffet with a lot of choices from the starters up to the deserts. Also the breakfast had for us sufficient choices.
Cons: It would be a bit more easy for us when the personnel in the restaurant could speak somewhat more English. Although at the end we always understood each other. Somehow the coffee quality (taste) was in the three days not always the same. The information we saw in booking.com about the internet and the air conditioning is out-of-date. Also the room has much more to offer that what is written in the booking.com website.
With a stay at Burgunderhof Hotel - Adults Only in Hagnau, you'll be on a lake, within a 15-minute drive of Affenberg and Meersburg Therme. Featured amenities include express check-in and express check-out. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The view, adult only, cleanliness
Cons: Little far from the city
Pros: Private hotel, beautifully and tastefully decorated. The location is stunning, the owners are very friendly and helpful. Lake Constance is a beautiful location, quiet, clean, calm Brilliant for cycling and site seeing, Hagnau is a perfectly placed town to start exploring, with easy access to all points of the lake
Cons: the weather was not perfect with two days rain in the week
Pros: Position, order, clean, friendly
Cons: The room we selected was small
Situated in Friedrichshafen, this hotel is within 1 mi (2 km) of Bodensee Center and Zeppelin Museum. Schulmuseum and Friedrichshafen Harbour are also within 2 mi (3 km). Friedrichshafen City Station is 27 minutes by foot.
Pros: Attentive personnel, lovely swimming pool
Cons: Our room was facing the road which was quite noisy in the morning time. There is construction ongoing next to the hotel and they starred to drill/hammer at 7 am which was quite irritating
Pros: The best asset of the Hotel are the Spa facilities, the solarium, sauna and indoor pool. The Restaurant is also good, the best in the area and, probably, one of the best of Friedrischafen. The fan at the room was incredibly silent and effective. The TV channels including Netflix. The cleanliness of the room and the whole facilities The car park included in the room price. But last and most importantly, what I appreciated more was the very good customer service and extremely attention from the staff. I appreciate very much they provided us with a very quiet room as I requested.
Cons: I did not like at all the glass door with the bathroom. I have seen this in other modern hotels and understand this is a fashion but it is not practical at all. The sliding door is noisy which at night is very annoying and does not seal the smells from the bathroom. Another issue could be the lack of A/C. Although the fan is excellent, I understand that for very hot days could not be sufficient and you may miss to have air conditioning. Also, there are some rooms close to the street that could be a bit noisy early in the morning which is an issue if you come over the Hotel for resting. And, finally, some other little details like for example, the towels quality or the pillows...are not at the level I would expect for a 4 star hotel. Nevertheless, as a balance score, I definetively would recommend this Hotel.
Pros: Friendly, helpful, personal and welcoming staff. Modern design and great facilities. The indoor pool is nice, the two saunas were really outstanding.
Pros: ambiance great, great beds. Food fantastic great staff great internet connection
Pros: Nice bright new hotel,Work was being done but hardly any noise.lovely big room comfy beds and a good breakfast.staff very friendly and welcoming.location good but a bit pricey when having to use taxis.nice in door pool and sauna area very clean.
Cons: NO AIR CON!!we stayed during the mega heat wave and although they provided a good fan it was to hot. Also the out door “natural pool” really looks more like a pond!!if they cleaned it up (I know it states natural but there was more life in it than my pond at home)it could be lovely.
Pros: The room was a very decent size, super comfortable, and exceptionally clean. Appreciated the hearty breakfast and wonderful staff
Pros: The food was fabulous! Both at dinner and at breakfast. The pools, indoor and outdoor, along with the sauna, were great.
Cons: The room was uncomfortably hot! I‘ve lived in Germany long enough to not expect air conditioning, but the room didn‘t even have a fan to blow the air around. As my room was on the top floor, I‘m sure that made it even worse. Plus, the in-room fridge barely kept drinks below room temperature; in other words, it hardly worked at all, so you couldn‘t even get a cold drink to cool off.
With a stay at Hotel Seehof in Uhldingen-Muehlhofen, you'll be within a 10-minute drive of Affenberg and Pfahlbau Museum. Featured amenities include multilingual staff and an elevator. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Staff were very friendly and helpful, Patrick was exceptionally helpful during check-in which was appreciated after a long journey. Rooms were very clean, comfortable and well appointed with good facilities. Free and secluded private parking. Good, well prepared evening meal. Excellent buffet breakfast with great coffee and freshly prepared scrambled eggs made to order. Relaxed atmosphere within the hotel and good advice from reception staff on places to visit and ferries to use to get around Lake Constance. Hotel in centre of marina area with good access to walks and cycle paths (local bike hire two minutes away). Overall a very good hotel and we would like to return next year.
Cons: Nothing, could not fault the hotel, rooms, facilities, staff, location and atmosphere.
Pros: Location, friendly and helpful staff.
Cons: Lack of air conditioning.
Pros: Great location for walking/cycling on Bodensee. Easy parking. Staff very helpful. Nice hotel restaurant and good breakfast. Especially impressed with room and bathroom. If visiting Bodensee will return in future.l
Pros: Location was excellent. We had lake view room. Parking was good. Breakfast was excellent with good choice including smoked fish and strawberries.
Pros: Loved the view to Bodensee and the easy access for our Kayaks. Hotel is really great and parking is the best, because it's hard to park car and trailor around the Bodensee. Family Wipfler
Pros: The location on the harbour was terrific. The room was sparkling and the dinner and breakfast delicious!
Cons: I loved everything.
Pros: Everything and ALL the staff
This 3-star superior hotel is located directly on Lake Constance and offers non-smoking rooms with balconies and a restaurant serving local cuisine. It is a 5-minute walk from the Hagnau Ferry Port. All rooms at the Hotel Zur Winzerstube also include safety deposit boxes and TVs with satellite channels. A hairdryer is provided in each bathroom. Dinner is served at the Zur Winzerstube. In warm weather, guests can eat on the terrace overlooking the lake. Massages and personal fitness sessions can be booked at the Hotel Zur Winzerstaube. The Hotel Zur Winzerstube stands directly beside Hagnau’s main park. Guests can enjoy walks here or through the nearby vineyards. Drivers can use the Winzerstube's car ports on request.
Pros: Everything is perfect
Pros: Location is beautiful, the facilities are excellent, food is well prepared and fresh and the staff were outstanding. Best service I’ve experienced in Germany. Highly recommended.
Pros: Beautiful view on the lake with direct access to it.
Cons: The staff was OK but not very warm nor welcoming. Quite expensive but in line with the prices of the places around. The leather cushion were a bit outdated but the hotel should go under a major renovation by next year. I would rather recommend to find an hotel in Meersburg which is a more lively and charming place than Hagnau.
Pros: More than very good breakfast. Part of restaurant on the terrace just next to the lake. Groudfloor apartment with lake view and balcony plus entrance to the garden and the lake access - fantastic
Cons: Parking space is challenging.
Pros: Beautiful hotel right on Lake Konstanz. Owner friendly and helpful; speaks English. Rooms very nice and updated. Restaurant on site was very good and prices were comparable for the area.
Cons: Limited parking spaces at hotel.
Pros: Very nice room with large balcony overlooking the lake and Switzerland beyond.
Cons: A bit tricky to find along the water...but thank GPS. Restaurant servers were overwhelmed but once served the food was excellent.
Pros: Located right on Lake Constance, breakfast overlooking the water, superbly kept rooms and always available beer and wine on the honor system. Excellent breakfast and wonderful dinners also available Near many fine restaurants and winery Bus to Friedrichshafen 5 minutes up the hill, near Meersburg
Cons: I had to leave!
Pros: It was clean and efficient
Serving delicious Baden cuisine, this family-run, non-smoking hotel enjoys a scenic location in Meersburg’s old quarter, directly on the promenade along the banks of Lake Constance. The Hotel Strand Café’s restaurant prides itself on its regional specialities, fresh fish creations, and fine local wines. In fine weather, lean back and relax on the cosy terrace overlooking the lake. Start your day with a freshly prepared buffet breakfast in the breakfast room or on the sunny terrace facing the sea. Unwind in the Strand Café’s comfortable rooms, which feature attractive wooden furniture and modern en-suite facilities. The hotel provides a convenient base for activities including diving, cycling, and golf. Alternatively, explore attractions such as the flower island of Mainau, the Salem Affenberg (monkey enclosure), and the Waldburg castle.
Pros: Hostess was wonderful - made an English speaking guest very welcome. Breakfast superb - great selections, delicious food and beverages. Book early and ask for a lakeside room
Pros: The staff was extremely helpful and even prepared breakfast for us outside since the weather was lovely. The room was tidy and comfortable. Great value for money! We would stay there again, anytime.
Pros: The location is fabulous! Just a stone's throw away from the ferry terminals. The hotel is old and has been nicely renovated. Do note, there are no lifts - so this is not suitable with people who have mobility issues. We stayed in a studio with a balcony onto the interior yards of other hotels and views of the castle and palace on the mountains. The studio is spacious and even has a walk in wardrobe. The bathroom was comfortable and beautiful. The staff are very friendly and will go out of their way to make you feel happy. Wifi is available for multiple devices. You get a guest card upon arrival which gives you some discounts to local attractions. The staff will even post your postcards for you :) Breakfast is typical for the region, so if you have any special dietary requirements, you will need to bring some of your own things (like I did, as I am vegan). You can also request coffee and tea made the way that you prefer. I recommend a visit to the Konstanz weekly produce market for some fresh fruit and berries, as well as Alnatura in Konstanz so you can supplement the breakfast with what you like. A really neat thing is that the breakfast bar at the hotel has a juicer - so you can squeeze your own juice from the carrots and apples they provide :)
Cons: When I booked the room, I selected it because it had a kitchen in the photos. However, upon arrival, I was informed that the kitchen does not function and was not on the list of facilities - which left me a little baffled, as I could not understand why they would include a photo of the kitchen on the website. After my initial disappointment, the staff offered some cutlery and plates so that I could still create some meals for myself, albeit cold ones. There is no kettle in the room, however the staff offered to fill up a thermos - so that is what we ended up doing for 5 nights - a staff member would fill up a thermos for us and take it up to our room before they left (they finish their shift at 6pm, after that there is no service) while we were still out exploring.
Pros: The lovely large room, balcony and views over the promenade. The large bathroom, hallway, 2 sets of patio doors and 2 other window with side aspect. The breakfast and breakfast room. The staff.
Cons: The restaurant closing at 1830 hours so we couldn't eat an evening meal there. The trees on the promenade covered a bit too much of the lake view. The lights on the balcony didn't work due to them attracting insects although candles were provided instead.
Cons: The room and bathroom were small, however cozy.
Pros: The views from our room on the top floor were uninterrupted and amazing, we could watch the boats coming in and out. Comfy bed, large modern bathroom.
With a stay at Hotel Villa Seeschau in Meersburg, you'll be within a 15-minute drive of Affenberg and Meersburg New Palace. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, luggage storage, and an elevator. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
Pros: Great breakfast, super nice & romantic views and a very good and quiet location on top of the hill in Meersburg. The "grandma" who welcomed us was extremely friendly and supportive.
Cons: The price was way too high for such a hotel. There was no complimentary water on the room which I surely expect at such high room charge (i.e. most 5* hotels offer free water and charge less for their rooms). The room was very small. The parking was charged extra and we had to pay the parking charge in cash (no credit cards allowed).
Pros: We stayed in the Grand Suite which was amazing. The bathtub was nice and big and we tried the sauna out once. The wine/beer fridge in suite was also handy, as long as you pay attention to what bottle costs what =) Italian place 5 min walk away.
Cons: The patio off of the Grand Suite is literally right below the breakfast area so you kind of feel like you're on display if you go out in the morning. And the shower seemed a bit larger in the pictures ;) There's not a ton to DO around Meersburg (Mainau was nice) but that wasn't really a concern of ours.
Pros: Lovely hotel, friendly staff, quiet location. Perfect for chilling out. Hardly saw any of the other guests and the sun loungers and hot tub were free the vast majority of the time.
Cons: Could have been more choice at breakfast and air conditioning in the rooms.
Pros: Very friendly welcome and good information on arrival. Great Breakfasts and much appreciated tea/coffee and cake available in the afternoon Perfect location - quiet, close to town even if there are a few steps to deal with as the town is on a steep hill - wonderful views of the lake and town.
Cons: Music in the dining area - too musak like for my taste and didn't add to the atmosphere. Being informed in room blurb that I had to be out of the room from 10.30 to 14.00 nfor cleaning seemed a little officious. Think parking fee is a bit much given the price of rooms
Pros: Gorgeous place, great location, wonderful staff
Cons: I did not realize I had to check out in cash.
Pros: excellent location. Room small but comfortable. Breakfast excellent. Only disappointment - nowhere easily available to sit down comfortably. As the weather was poor during our stay having somewhere to relax in the hotel would have been an advantage. Would certainly recommend - and with good weather and excellent retreat and location
Cons: see aboce
Pros: Spotlessly clean, lovely room with patio. Views over vineyards to lake.
Pros: Lovely hotel located on hill. Hotels itself offers nice architecture and fine deco interior design. View from my room window is absolutely amazing.
Cons: If it must leave suggestion, I’d like to recommend it offers customized egg for breakfast, such as sunny side egg or scrummage egg.
Pros: Beautiful villa within walking distance to Mainau & Konstanz ferries. Spectacular view of Bodensee.
Located in Eriskirch, LANDHAUS VIER JAHRESZEITEN is within a 10-minute drive of Dornier Museum and Bodensee Center.
Pros: The property is extremely clean
Pros: Breakfast is great and enough choice. Although I arrived when it was dark already I do think this is a nice area to have a short walk. The lady was also super friendly. Room is super big and the WiFi isn't that slow as they say. I was here for work, but if you are on a holiday this is also a superb hotel.
Cons: The walls are kind of thin as I could hear my neighbour coughing. There aren't many places around the area to have dinner
Pros: Landhaus Vier Jahreszeiten was much better than we expected!! Beautifully decorated , modern conveniences, very friendly staff, very clean and quiet. Breakfast was great and the dining room was so cozy it almost felt like home! A great place to stay. Recommend it highly!!!
Pros: You need a car to get the hotel because it is out the town but when you enter the hotel you feel at home .The room was excelent and the breakfast very good.
Pros: Decent location, friendly staff, spacious room
Cons: Breakfast is good, can have more options
Pros: Cleanliness staff pleasent quiet peaceful
Cons: Location remote
A stay at Hotel City Krone places you in the heart of Friedrichshafen, steps from Buchhorn Fountain and 5 minutes by foot from Lake Constance Promenade. Featured amenities include a computer station, express check-in, and express check-out. Planning an event in Friedrichshafen? This hotel has facilities measuring 538 square feet (50 square meters), including a meeting room. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
Pros: Great location, confortable, very good breakfast, very good spa. The staff is very professional, friendly and helpfull.
Cons: Everything was perfect!
Pros: We enjoyed the pool wich was bigger than expected. There is also a Sauna but it was always full so we didn’t get to try it. Location was great with fast access to the lake. Breakfast was very good. The staff was very nice and helpful. Rooms were clean and big !
Cons: Rooms were very very noisy. We could hear people walking and making noise in the corridors. Also every morning at 7 and every night until 10, we were hearing the bells of the church just in front of the hotel ! And they are ringing every hours for 5-10 minutes, it was exhausting. The beds were not comfortable, so it made the nights long and the experience not so relaxing for us. We feel more tired than before after theses 3 nights.. The hotel parking was so full we only get to park there one day ouf of 3, and had to go park at a much more expensive one down the street (15€ per day instead of 8 at the hotel.) It felt unfair and frustrating especially when people were parked so badly, taking the space for two cars, (even though they ask for you license plate number at check in (then they should tell people to park decently or make them pay for two spots !!!))
Pros: Location is super, near the lake, all staff is very friendly, room and all Hotels are very clean.
Pros: Great location, Great service in each aspect! Many nice details that made us feel welcome and at ease! Totally recommendable!!!
Cons: I would need to invent something!
Pros: Very good quality price
Pros: Good location
With a stay at Hotel 3 Stuben in Meersburg, you'll be within a 15-minute drive of Affenberg and Meersburg New Palace. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Limited parking is available onsite.
Pros: The hotel has a good location the old town, just a few minutes walk from the castles and the lake. Parking is available for extra money, staff is friendly. Overall, good value for money.
Cons: The room was a bit noisy, we could hear our neighbors.
Pros: Excellent people. Very convenient and comfortable. Will stay again soon.
Cons: Absolutely nothing to complain about.
Pros: Hotel is in a great location. Beautiful old house, very clean and comfortable rooms. Staff very helpful.
Cons: Freshly squeezed orange juice for breakfast and the scrambled eggs were dry towards the end of breakfast time
Pros: From start to finish the Hotel management and staff were so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Everyone spoke excellent English with us and when one of our group injured her finger in a restaurant the lady on reception was most helpful in providing a suitable dressing. The rooms are all individually decorated and furnished and spotlessly clean and fresh. Complimentary drinks in the fridge were a lovely touch. Although two of our three rooms were not air conditioned, we were given large fans which worked well. The beds are large and very comfy and we had a great night‘s sleep. A lovely breakfast is served in the elegant ‚Stuben‘ . The hotel is easy to find right at the top of this beautiful town amongst the historic buidings. The walk down to the lake promenade with our parents in their 80‘s took about 15 minutes and the very steep walk back up was a little slower but pleasant. If the hill is a problem there are plenty of restaurants in the upper part of town just a few meters away instead or alternatively the complimentary town shuttlebus takes you from the lake to the hotel. We really loved our stay and would highly recommend the hotel to couples or families.
Cons: As is often the case outside the uk, there is no kettle in the room but quite honestly the complimentary drinks compensated nicely.
Pros: Location and the restaurant
Pros: The hotel was definitely beautiful and room facing the lake had a view like no other. The staff was very kind and the breakfast was incredibly delicious!
Cons: We asked to be extended for one more night and they promised to let us know in a few minutes if we could extend. We had to come back down that evening to follow up and they had relocated us to a smaller, unpleasant room.
Pros: It is not the first time we are staying in this hotel. It’s clean, location is perfect, service is great and people who work there are very helpful. I also like the food - I consider it to be the best restaurant in Meersburg. In addition to the fresh ingredients, it offers healthy choices, which almost impossible to find around! Amazing place!
Pros: Thé view on thé lac
Pros: Breakfast was extremely delicious. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
Pros: Friendly and helpful staff. Great restaurant. Really well situated.
Cons: The only possible misgiving would be lack of AC. The table fan in the room helped a bit, but somewhat hard to sleep even though the window was wide open. (Day temperatures were around 25 degrees.)
Pros: The location was ideal - right at the start of boat trips across the lake As many other places, this hotel offered breakfast, lunch and dinner, with quite a great array of dishes The room had an en suite bathroom with heating. Free Wifi and a bottle of water - much appreciated Breakfast is incredibly wonderful, and so is dinner!
Cons: It is a double room, but quite small for two people The bathroom has been retrofitted and is quite small; might be difficult for overweight people to be comfortable there.
Pros: Great location, very friendly staff, happy to accommodate a LATE check-in. Breakfast was wonderful, and definitely more selection than a traditional B&B.
Pros: Great location right on the water and next to the boat trip pier. Easy walk around the corner to the scenic old city streets, although you must go up a steep hill to get to the old city center. Restaurant very popular, so recommend dinner reservations. Good renovations to make the rooms very comfortable despite the old city closeness.
Cons: Breakfast options were limited, but sufficient, just don’t expect an elaborate spread. You must drive up to the alley to check in, and get a parking pass to take the car back outside the old city to the parking center. There is no reception or lobby, so you must arrive between 1500 and 1800 to check in, otherwise you must go through the restaurant and find someone to help you. You must carry the heavy key around town with you otherwise you won’t be able to get back into the building.
With a stay at Traube am See in Friedrichshafen, you'll be within a 10-minute drive of Strandbad Friedrichshafen and Schulmuseum. Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services and ATM/banking services. This hotel has 2 meeting rooms available for events. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Excellent and helpful stafff
Pros: The spa section is really nice after a days work! They also have an excellent restaurant, which is a bit pricey for every day meals, but once in a while it's really worth it!
Cons: The room I ended up in is in the old part of the building, so the rooms are not so up to date...
Pros: Breakfast was very very good. The swimming pool and the spa area, is completely new, spacious, and confortable. (Water could be a little warmer though) the location is also perfect, the village is very quiet.
Cons: Apart from the guys form the bar that were awesome, all other staff I interacted with was not very friendly, they were professional, but not helpful. Beds could be more confy.
Pros: The food in restaurants and friendly staff
Cons: No air conditioning in room however they supplied a fan after I inquired as room was hot
Pros: Pool and Wellness.
Pros: staff clean comfort
Cons: facilities are minimum on the room, and I have to ask for what I need, I was recommending to have the facilities ready from day 1.

Pros: The hotel is situated not far from the center but with an excellent view on the Lake. The hotel is family owned and has a very sympatethic atmophere. Breakfast was with excellent choice. I adore the fresh fruit Buffet. Boiled eggs with specific cooking time are available.
Pros: 5 minutes walk to the market place and church
Cons: Towel in the bathroom too old
Pros: Very friendly and helpful staff. The receptionist provided all information needed to go around, very cooperative. Nice and clean room with a comfy bed. The gym is great, many equipment. The breakfast buffet is delicious.
Cons: Small swimming pool.
Pros: Tesla charging station :)
Pros: Beautiful, sparkling clean room with a view of the lake and town. Excellent breakfast and very nice staff!
Pros: Friendly staff and good location
Pros: Excellent location, good breakfast, friendly staff. Plenty of space for 2 adults + 2 children with fully equipped kitchen in the “economy double room”.
Cons: Weak wifi access in the room (mini-apartment on the premises) which wouldn’t normally be an issue except that there’s very bad cellular data connection all over Meersburg.
Featuring a garden with a swimming pool, this family-run guest house in Meersburg is situated just 800 metres from Lake Constance. Most rooms and apartments offer free Wi-Fi and a balcony or terrace. The individually decorated rooms at Gästehaus Sommertal all include satellite TV and a private bathroom. Each apartment is additionally fitted with a kitchenette and dining area. The A98 motorway is 30 km away, and a ferry terminal with services to Constance is 1 km from Gästehaus Sommertal. Free parking is available on site.
Cons: Nothing ideal place as a base and to go out and explore
Pros: We rented an apartment studio in the basement, and it was very formidable! There is a small kitchen are well-equipped so we can cook the meal simple. However there was no microwave. The bed was comfy, and the bathroom was very clean. Internet worked well, but was limited during certain hours (no internet from 11PM - 7AM), which was no problem for us Parking was easy to access. The are was very calm and quiet. It takes abouth 5-7 minutes to walk to the centrl town and the lake All in all, we were very pleased and highly recommend !
Cons: Would be nice if there was a microwave. But nothing to complain otherwise
Pros: The owner was extremely friendly. We liked room equipment: full kitchen with dish and consumables. interesting bathroom. The room was clean in deed. The hotel was good located just 2 minute from the public places. the nearest supermarket was 2 min walk and FLIXBUS stop 5 min walk.
Cons: 'The room in the basement' was in the cellar in deed. So I was a bit worry to sleep on the same level as a grave :)
Pros: More or less everything : location , facilities including a swimming pool , self-contained kitchenette etc.
Cons: Walking direction to the premise was a little confusing for us
Pros: - Owner is super friendly, knowledgeable & ever so helpful :) - Location is perfect: nestled at the base of a vineyard (picturesque!), off the noisy main road, just a short 5min walk to the beautiful old town, plus little grocery store (edeka) 3min walk away - Pictures of the room are super accurate - Amenities provided were as promised, everything worked :) They even had a little pantry stocked with chips, snacks & drinks at the lobby just in case anyone wanted something - Room was warm, bright & comfortable — not bad for a basement room! - Loved the spacious toilet :)
Cons: - Beds were very... squishy. My husband has a bad back and couldn’t sleep on the bed because it was not firm (absolutely no back support whatsoever). The moment you climb into bed, you sink into the mattress. We realised that the problem was not the mattresses; but the bed frames — because the top of the bed frames were soft (like a hammock), the mattress sank wherever weight was placed on it. - Carpet on which the beds were placed is dusty. My allergies started flaring up. BUT other than that, the room was pretty clean :)
Pros: Perfect for what we wanted
Cons: Everything was good
Pros: Great location and parking close to.old town but 2 blocks away from the crush the room was very nice with terrace close to the kitchen/ breakfast area , had use of fridge for my insulin good Italian restaurant close by . Very.nice lady running the guesthouse one of our favorite stays.
Pros: Clean and comfy accommodation in a quiet area with all the basics including a kitchenette
Cons: Internet in the basement apartment did not always work well and the fridge was noisy

Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, dry cleaning/laundry services, and multilingual staff. A roundtrip airport shuttle is complimentary (available on request).
Cons: I have a late evening horror surprise - my room was full of mosquitos and spiders when I got back to the hotel around 24 o'clock. There was nobody on the reception, no contacts nothing. I need to stay on a two sits small couch in the lobby until person from the hotel appear by chance around 4-4:30 am Booking.com service lines kept me for 20 min without anybody answering. I just got operators are busy. I doubt now you have operators at all. No reception after I don't know 8-9pm in this hotel. Not acceptable for hotel pretending to be. No way to call anybody in case of issue.
Cons: Not real 4 stars hotel. Extremely expensive for what it was. The room was very small. The front rooms with the view are not available through Booking.com.

Pros: Very quiet, a nice garden with a possibility to sit outside. The rooms are spacious, clean and well fitted. The staff are very friendly and helpful.
Cons: It's a bit far to walk to the city centre (around 2 km), and it's uphill on the way back. But there are buses that you can use for free with your hotel registration slip. The staff at the reception explain how it works and provide timetables.
Pros: I really enjoyed staying in this hotel. Room was clean every day!
Cons: I liked everything
Pros: The fixtures, fittings and cleanliness were all of an exceptional high standard. The breakfast buffet was also first class. The owners were very friendly and helpful and would totally recommend this accommodation.
Pros: Spotlessly clean. Good size bedroom with useful & good quality furniture e.g. sofa, chair. Very comfortable bed. Patio window opened onto large garden area - with 2 chairs & table on patio & there was also an adjustable sun canopy. Bathroom very clean with a good shower. Enjoyed the breakfasts - good quality ‘continental style’.
Cons: Wish they had evening meal. Although we managed by walking to town (about 25 mins - but hill on return) or taking nearby bus - although return buses stopped early evening so you either walked or took taxi (5 euros approx). But to us this was a minor problem & the pluses of the hotel far outweighed any minor minuses. We would return if ever back in the area.
Pros: Warm and friendly welcome with informative and enthusiastic host. The hotel was immaculate everything we needed for our four nights. Extremely comfortable and very quiet. The free pass for the bus was a bonus. Meersburg itself was a beautiful town, very clean with lots of good restaurants bars and shops. But one must try out the bakeries for excellent coffee, sandwiches/rolls and of course delicious pastries. We took the boat to Konstanz and from there the bus to Mainau Island which is pricey to enter but could spend all day there especially with children... look it up ! Meersburg also has a beautiful beach/lido which we enjoyed so this Hotel was perfect for us.
Cons: Nothing... everything was perfect for us.
Pros: The staff were very helpful and obliging. The decor of the hotel was very tastefully designed. It was a very restful location a short distance from the old town. We would like to return.
Cons: No English speaking TV programmes

Pros: Excellent breakfast buffet.
Cons: On the booking.com site, the property was listed with free parking but at the property, they charged 12 euros.
Pros: Good standard breakfast. On site parking. Location right on the lake with easy access to the Konstance ferry. Central location to other lake sites.
Pros: We had a large room at the front with views over the lake. Close to amenities, shops, cafes/bars.
Cons: The second floor suite rooms suffer with an awful smell coming from nearby laundry Shoot, which appeared to be left open.
Cons: cost for dog and parking
