Position, staff, hospitality. The staff is very well prepared and proactive.
The reception as such has to be modernized.Fast.The lobby bar too.
The waiters were quite ok, smiling and helpfull. Hotel had sanitising gel dispensers. Elevators were decent. The pool (shared with Gergana hotel) was ok. The rooms, even though had a bad smell and were small, had newer furniture than Elitsa or Nona, and decent Phillips lcd, with all kind of tv channels.
I visited most of the hotels in the first line in Albena. If i have to make a top list, it would look like this: 1.Paradise Blue, 2.Gergana, 3.Boryana, 4.Mura, 5.Nona, 6.Elitsa, 7.Slavuna. I wasn't bothered that the restaurant is shared with Mura hotel, but i was bothered that the food was real bad, with no taste.Even the omlette was bad.The juice was mostly pure water, with no flavour added, the coffe was real, real bad(we had only one juice machine and 2 coffe machines working for 2 hotels). The beach was ok, except the old gipsy guy who, in an verry aggresive way, at 17:00 o'clock , sent tourists away, because he had to allign the beach chairs.Verry rude and unprofessional. The rooms were very small, with a very nasty smell. An old house smell, although the furniture was quite ok.The fan in the bathroom was not working. The air-conditioning in our room was not working. The maids entered without knocking(my 10 years old boy was changing and he was naked), and we spent few minutes trying to make the understand that we want to rest and its no need for cleaning. No english. The reception clerks were quite bored, and even tried to make us pay for 2 kids although we already paid for in advance.I had to show her the booking reservation, because in her system appeared only 2 adults and no kids. Our sea view rooms were actually a side sea view, facing the pool, with a little corner of sea in sight. The wi-fi was poor, but that wasn't a big deal, everywhere its like this(except Paradise Blue, of course). We had problems with the card that we made the payment. After we paid 2 rooms at slavuna and one at Elitsa, someone tryed to use our card data to make different payments in different locations in bulgaria. We had a big argue with booking, with our bank(had to change the card) and the conclusion was that slavuna and elitsa payment system is corrupt, and cards data are vulnerable. Poor experience overall.
It was ok and it was really ok. Beyond the reviews and the special expectations, I would like to say that I paid for an All Inclusive offer, more exactly a little over 100 euros for 2 nights. The rooms were very clean and spacious, the food included exceeded any waiting, the staff smiled at me all the time and was careful to my needs. The beach turned out to be clean and welcoming. I received more than I expected to receive. I am very happy after all.
I can not say I did not like something special. But if I really need to say something, I would add that given that we arrived very late and we had no place to find a restaurant to eat something fast, and again, I would also say that beer offered for free at FreeBar was a pearl. :) Any way, has for free: P Another thing I would mention is that a lot of the hotel in Albena, including Slavuna, have a common street in which access is allowed on a parking ticket and the parking price is not a decent one. In contrast, these hotels have free electric car races that take you from the parking lot to the hotel you are staying with. So, you can leave your car in public parking outside Albena. Everything is ok, but from other tourists, I understand that it is not ok to leave your car so far .... Draw the conclusions yourself.
I liked the rooms, nice and big. The location never to the beach, perfect for sunrise.
I didn't like that the hotel doesn't have a SPA. And also the bathroom was really tight.
Awesome location, right in the front of the beach who is clean and you have sunbeds and sun shade for free. Food was ok. Drinks for all tastes. Comfy beds A very clean room.
You must pay the parking depending the place you left your car. At the entrance in Albena where was supposed to be for free like last year is 5 leva a day, I agree with a green zone and without pollution but if the parking it is outside(at the entrance) of the city and the car is not used thats mean it is not poluting the air. . And if you want to park at 40 meters of the hotel is 15 leva a day.
Nestled on the beach, this Albena property is within 12 mi (20 km) of Nirvana Beach, Golden Sands Beach, and Cabacum Beach. Aladzha Monastery is 10.5 mi (16.9 km) away.
