The location was central and had less noise pollution
The next door neighbor`s car was parked next to the room i stayed and had a noisy vehicle .
Very "Victorian" atmosphere, polite staff members, cozy interior.
Breakfast and dinner (too greasy)
The convenience of the location.
Toilet seats - quite wobbly and dangerous
Very friendly, helpful staff. They made me feel at home and welcome especially after I arrived later than expected and had only about 15 minutes before having to leave for my appointment. I was exhausted after a difficult journey and was offered a cup of coffee which was wonderful. After upgrading my booking to a room inside the hotel I was very happy with my room. My bed was comfortable. I was kindly allowed to sleep in after being ill in the night before checking out. I had to wait for my lift on departure and was very comfortable in the lounge watching TV.
The bathroom had no window. There was no evening restaurant so I had to go out for a meal. No snacks were available either. There was no coffee facility available in the lounge when I was waiting for my life. The original room I booked was outside. It was small and cold and I had to navigate a number of staircases to get there which was extremely difficult for me, an elderly person, in the rain. The fact that it was an outside room was not mentioned in the information.
The location was perfect near all the places I wanted to go to.
