Pros (+) Steps from the Chatelet-Les Halles hub, walkable to the Notre Dame and Lourve, tons of restaurants and shopping around. Cons (-) We had the loft, which is actually ground level + basement level despite its name, and the main bedroom is downstairs which makes it unpractical to bring luggage down the tight spiral staircase. There is also poor soundproofing so we could hear noises from the hallway and the roadway construction outside.
