Jemima’s is convenient for the purpose of my visit to East London. So it would be an automatic choice for future visits .
It’s not a relevant question but unfortunately during this stay, there was a large group booking . As much as I understand that large bookings are important , I feel , individual bookings should be made aware of this as the group seemed to take over the establishment. This it was extremely noisy. I was allocated a room in the main building and had I know this when making the reservation I would not have made the booking. This though has no bearing on the establishment though .
Very friendly and nothing was to much trouble
They promised to send me an invoice beginning lf December which they never did. And decided to call me before check in date to confirm. I had already booked another accomodation to avoid surprises. Poor customer service. Am not sure they select their guests but their selection criteria sucks. Never and ever again try to book them for accomodation.
Jemima's is always a great place to stay. Would have loved to have a bathtub though. I understand that the rooms with the tubs in the main house were already booked. I'll just have to make sure that I book those 3 rooms on time for me and my family for our next get away.
Breakfast was a little greasy but love the actual menu.
I totally enjoyed their breakfast and the hospitality was great.
I wish we could have been notified that the place wasn't self catering because we had brought with groceries thinking we would prepare our own meals and we had to return home with all that grocery.
Jemina’s Hospitality, located in an exclusive, leafy area of East London on the Eastern Cape coast, combines a relaxed Moorish atmosphere with French boutique-style accommodation. Experience the distinctive ambience and elegantly furnished interiors of the Bunker on Bailie. Stay in touch with the world with a high speed wireless internet connection or forget all about it with a drink by the swimming pool. Explore East London, a vibrant city with a laidback charm. The long stretches of white sandy beach appeal to surfers, swimmers and sun worshippers alike. Jemina’s also enjoys a wide range of restaurants, bars and shops within a 2km radius. The hotel also features its own state-of-the-art conference room next to the undercover barbecue area.
