No one available when I came to pick up my car. No notice that they closed at noon on Saturday. No attempt to contact me to find out if I was on my way. No customer service at all. I had even called ahead to check with them about the situation. I like Hertz and have used them many times successfully before, but this location in Columbia, MO, was pitiful. Would never attempt to rent from them again. Cost me almost $100 in extra cab fare and wasted my time. I recommend using another company that might care about their customers.
People at the drop location asked me to leave the keys in car and leave. Even though i submitted the car in time they checked it late and wrote the wrong time and charged me $86 more than my actual rental contract signed. Later i called the pickup location ,drop location ,customer care but none of them responded in my favor. They gave me the careless replies but didn’t refund my amount. This is completely their mistake and i have been charged $86 extra because of them. I do not recommend hertz in the future.
Guy at pick up was questioning me. Would not accept my apple card, and gave me wrong information about amount that would be taken off my account if I use a debit card (because they did not accept my apple card without previous notice) bullshit service at pick up
Super easy process, super friendly and kind staff, 24/7 Roadside Assistance responders were fantastic, knowledgeable and helpful. The staff were genuinely upset and sorry for the very small issue I had with the car. I felt like they truly cared about making sure I had a good experience.
The rental car location was off airport property. That was not communicated during booking. Booking came without local phone number so was unable to contact local office. Once Uber reached the location, at 6:01, location was already closed for evening. Unable to get the car, talk to anyone at hertz and lost all monies for booking. Terrible experience.
