Wij hadden een peugeot 308 SW besteld en ter plaatse kregen we te horen dat we een VW I bus 100 % elektrisch kregen. We schrokken in de eerste plaats omdat we nog nooit elektrisch gereden hadden en geen ander model kregen. Gelukkig is Corsica heel goed voorzien van laadpunten en hebben we genoten van onze ritjes door het mooie Corse.

I'd recommend to read the Google reviews. The staff should be replaced asap. "Rude and arrogant" are the nicer descriptions....

The car was good However, we were charged 50€ more with no explanation. Hertz was not able to explain why this extra cost is applied when asked. The car rented to us without prior cleaning

When we picked up the car we specifically asked if we needed to fill up the gas tank and the representative at the desk said no. We also used google translate to make sure our communication was understood correctly. When we dropped off the car the representative said we needed to fill the car up with gas when dropping off. We did not receive a written or emailed contract stating that we needed to fill up. We were charged an exorbitant amount without prior warning. This was a horrible experience. I would like to be credited for this outrageous charge.

The pick up was very disappointing. The woman explained we needed to pay an additional 150 euros to take a hybrid or petrol car. We have never driven a totally electric car and we planned to travel in the north Mountains of Corsica where there are hardly any charging stations. We found none and couldn’t travel far as we couldn’t charge the car. The woman was extremely rude and unhelp I deliberately had NOT booked an electric car. It spoilt our holiday Customers need to be informed about this as it’s very expensive to find this out at the pick up. Until the infrastructure of charging stations is in place this is ridiculous to insist all hire cars are electric
