Pick-up truck

I had a reservation to get the car at 10 am, when I got there they tried to give me a small SUV and not a pick up per my reservation. The Truck was not ready and had to be cleaned while I sat there for 50 mins. My reservation was confirmed at 8 am but the car wasn't then made ready for my pick up time. All the while the service rep, just kept telling me they cleaning it now, when I asked why it wasn't cleaned before I got there, he had no response. When I finally got in the truck, it was dirty in the inside, smelled as if someone smoked in it and from the cleaning the seats were wet leaving my pants when when I sat in the front seat. The whole ordeal left very upset and forced me to be an hour late for the appointment I was trying to get to, and pushed my entire trip back over three hours from the initial plan, becuase of one hour delay with not so much as an explanation as to why the truck was being cleaned when I got there verse prior to my arrival.

The people were relatively nice. The car smells of smoke and the upholstery was ripped, overall the call seemed dirty. I could not pick up at my requested time, I was asked to come in earlier - why offer that pick up time if it's not available? Same with drop off, I arrived before closing time busy was told I needed to use the drop box.

Kayak made a reservation for us at a location that no longer exists, so this was not an Enterprise issue, but a Kayak issue.

Enterprise did not honor the reservation. I called to let them know I was about 10 min behind schedule and the representative said they did not have a vehicle for me unless I rent an SUV. The rep also said he tried to call me but I didn’t have a phone number on the reservation, which is not true. This situation left me with less than one hour to find a new rental car on a Saturday which is almost impossible in Clarksville TN. This is the second bad experience I’ve had with them.

Supplier choice

Tge person who rented this car is a fraud. Sheika Roman is using my email She has done this before with tge apple store and order alot of phones and iPad. I alerted them about the email and they stopped her. I notified Hertz and they did NOTHING!! WILL NEVER USE HERTZ!!

The gentleman who helped us in Clarksville, KY, could not have been more helpful, and incredibly cordial. I wish I could remember his name.

Cons:

Include a windshield scraper in the car. We woke up the morning after renting the vehicle to find a solid sheet of ice on our vehicle.
