Pros:

The staff called me just a few hours before my rental to inform me that they had no vehicles available except for one van I asked if they could give me the Vin for the price of my reservation and they said no so I was unable to get to the places I needed to this weekend with my family.

Cons:

They shouldn’t have had vehicles available on their website if they weren’t really available. And if they are going to cancel someone’s reservation they should at least first offer the vehicle that you have for the same price of the reservation

They promised a car picked up in California and to be dropped in Oregon. They changed the rental to be delivered back to the pick up point. I had to cancel and go with another company at much more money.

Great service at pick up and drop off. Was given a larger car than requested because "I WAS LATE". AA's fault not Enterprise's or mine. Great car, very happy that I was given a larger car than requested. Contemplating on buying the same as I rented. VW Passat. This car was very clean and almost drove itself. It was like I was driving the Knight Industries Two Thousand but without KITT's voice. Pssssst, VW, add KITT's voice and you'll sell millions upon millions. I am a very happy renter and will rent from Enterprise again as I have in the past. Thank you Humboldt airport Enterprise staff and most of all the lady that answered the phone on the evening of Oct 21 2021 that did her best to hold a car for me. WOW! what great customer service. I could not have asked for better.

Would have been nice for the location to actually be open. Was closed- called budget to help and was told I could go to another car car rental agency- waited almost an hour for someone to show up- when she arrived she was extremely rude and flippant. Will not use budget again. The person at the enterprise counter was extremely helpful and apologetic. They will get my business from now on

I talked to a service rep and said that I would be there at 4pm. I arrived after 4pm and was shocked that they closed at 4pm. That service rep should have told me they close at 4pm. Unacceptable service.

My problem wasn’t with Hertz. My reservation through Kayak was the problem. Apparently Kayak doesn’t bother to check when their partners are open. I was supposed to return the rental car on Sunday. Guess what? That office isn’t open on Sunday. I had no choice but to pay for an extra day which I didn’t use. Last time I’ll be burned by third party bookers. They have no accountability. Hey Kayak, reach out and reimburse me for your incompetence.
