They need more employees. My pickup time was not honored, I walked out 2hrs later. And that's with booking and pre-paid for the rental. I did the early check in process and still walked out 2hrs later...and then upon returning said they were keeping my $300 deposit because of a flat tire. I'm following through to see what tire cost $300!

Never got the vehicle. You all did not tell us that all the vehicles were rented out....

Cons:

Contact customer and tell them something v/s letting them go to the place and there is no vehicle. Will never use Kayak again...

I was not a big fan of just dropping the car off and leaving it in an unsecure lot since their office was closed on Sunday. We were two women dropping it off alone after dark waiting for an Uber to pick us up for the airport. It would've been nice to know the circumstances before making the rental. The car itself was nice, clean, good condition, and ran very well. The staff was friendly and answered all of our questions.

I chose the “Special” which is the selection of the rental company. They selected an EV which would not be feasible because I was driving a route without charging stations. They did not want to allow me another option without an additional cost per day. Fortunately, one of the managers was very kind and allowed me to get a vehicle that was good on gas at no extra charge. If I had not waited and asked someone else, I would have been put in a 17 mpg vehicle at $10 more per day. Beware of the “special”.

I reserved pickup for noon. I signed in at the counter and waited. At 2:30 I finally had a car that smelled like wet dog. I drove it home and decided I could not keep that vehicle. I reserved another for pickup the next day at the airport location. I was charged $122 for a single day rental, I wrote customer service and was told that I breached my contract by returning to a different location and returning too soon. Good to know for any and all future rentals from Hertz. I have had the vehicle from the airport for 2 weeks now and can't wait to see that final bill...

Cons:

Lower rates, and clean car. Other customers were brought out a clean car, this red chevy was not clean. Then csr tried to charge me extra when I put $20 of gas in it. It had less than a half of tank of gas upon receiving the flop. Terrible!

I didn't get my car-location was closed the time i got there after 12 noon. tried to call customer service and there was no one answered my call. It's hard to routing the call as well.
