They could have had a car for me. When I got to the counter they had no cars to rent even though I had reserved online. First time I’ve had this problem. Thankfully one of the other agencies had a car for me.

Pros:

They did not have the type of car I reserved. Therefore I did not rent with them. They wanted me to wait another day to get more car options. They only had an Escalade available and told me if I wantes it I would have to use a major credit card with a $1000 deposit and on top of that charge me more for it per day than what I signed up for.

Cons:

It would have been nice to have other options like the one i reserved or at least give me the same price for the Escalade they had available.

Rental itself was fine. I had an issue at the end of my trip—my flights home were changed, and I had to modify my plans and drop off the car at a different airport (Philadelphia instead of Newark). The agent was able to modify my itinerary, but I was charged a large additional amount to do this VERY disappointed, prob will avoid Alamo in the future.

All representatives were friendly and knowledgeable, the vehicle was excellent, and I never hit a single bump. I was even able to pick up and drop off a bit early.

No ability to contact local agent, no store front or signage indicating pickup location, only a guy in a car with a sign. My rental was given away to someone else because I was late getting my car because I couldnt find the location, despite calling the national number they assured me everything was OK

I reserved a large sedan for a trip cross country. When I arrived my only option was a truck. Obviously not happy with it and the additional fuel cost that I would occur during the trip. I kindly asked for a discount and they wouldn’t offer me one, not even 10%. And was told if they charged me for a truck the cost would be double, so be happy

Car was rented to me with very low tire pressure. Was travelling on the highway stop at 2 gas stations to fix tires air machines with broken and each one had to complete my trip with low tire pressure using way too much gas

The staff was helpful but pretty impossible to find at the Albany location.

Cons:

The car was not what I signed up for - I had requested a smaller car and it was a huge jeep. The previous driver smoked cigarettes and the car reaked. I didn't get the sense that it was ever cleaned and it made me feel really uneasy.

Staff remained professional and friendly in poor working conditions

Cons:

Leave the pick up inside the airport and have someone deliver the cars to the door or have a golf cart to take the customer out to the car, it is very difficult dragging all your luggage out to a garage not knowing where your going. A handicapped person (me) will not do it again because I have bad legs and was so sore and tired when I finally got in the car I should not have been driving especially a car I’m not used to. And no there was nobody around to offer help just a sign saying go outside where our staff is working in a dark dingy shack !

Yes to both the questions. Staff was freindly.

Cons:

Car check over could have been done better. The driver's side mirror would not stay in place and I had to rely on the yellow warning lights on the mirror that a vehicle was near me at times.

The pick up and drop off were fine in both cities. The car was dirty and the windshield was so filthy I had to stop and buy window cleaner to see safely out of the window.

Car was not ready when I was there to pick up. This made me miss an important meeting. I had pre paid for car. I was forced to go through another rental car company. Very disappointed on the service. Expecting a full refund and voucher
