Staff was friendly and it was a smooth in and out compared to airport! I will do this again and avoid renting at airport!Cons:
I got fast service but the guy after me had to wait bcuz my car was being vacuumed out. They had only 1 guy helping and the other customer looked agitated as he went to find someone after waiting 10 minutes. Can’t please everyone. Maybe it was lunchtime?10,0 Wonderful

We did not expect to have to take a cab from the airport to pick up our rental car! We also did not expect to have to return the car to the same location requiring another cab to get us back to the airport! Our reservations were made through Kayak to pick up the rental car at the airport so we were very angry when they did not have a car for us.3,2 Poor

Cleaned and sanitized the car before renting it to me.... the GM at the burien location seen the car was dirty and not cleaned during these CIVID times I feel betrayed after I brought up I couldn’t use the car it was a too bad too sad I signed the agreement papersEasirent

They told me they didn’t have a car. They tried to charge me more money. And then they tried to give me a cargo van instead of a car. The place was filthy. The reservation did not say they closed at 5:30 nor that (according to them) I only had a 60 minute window to pick up the car.2,0 Poor

Pros:
Nothing at all. I kept calling to confirm my rental. They would answer the phone and leave me on permanent hold. I finally went there to pick up the car without talking to anyone and they had no car for me. My options were either to pay $50 additional per day or $20 additional per day. When I arrived I had to wait in line to not pick up a car. Meanwhile I watched the guy picking up the phone and putting people on permanent hold. I tried to call Kayak but they're closed on the weekends. I later read online hat Kayak doesn't guarantee price or availability. Hertz didn't cancel the car rental so my card was still charged, now I'm dealing with calling into their billing department to cancel it after the fact.Cons:
1. if they don't have the car I received they need to contact me by any means possible as soon as possible. Computers can do this... 2. if I arrive and they don't have a car in the same class I reserved, they need to give me whatever the next car closest to the class I reserved. 3. if they cannot do any of that for some reason, they should apologize for the inconvenience and arrange a car with the next nearest rental location. 4. not waste my time2,0 Poor

Nothing; honestly the worst rental car I’ve experienced in years. It’s not just Hertz problem, it was Kayak and Priceline for letting Hertz get away with making me pay to not get a Cargo Van.Cons:
There were 5 travelers in a row ( I was 4th) that used Priceline / Kayak; and we all waited 45 minutes to 1.5 hours to get vehicles we didn’t request at a higher than advertised price.2,0 Poor

When i arrived in Seattle i was told they only had a commercial cargo van. No back seats, no windows. A white panel van for three days driving through Seattle. The only other option was to spend $40 more a day to “upgrade” to a mid size. Terrible service. Will never rent from hertz again.10,0 Wonderful
