Not at all as per Avis standard
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Delayed Service - My booking was from 11am and i received car at 12:30 PM that too after making numerous calls to customer care. Hidden charges - Toll taxes after returning the car for Driver. I have availed meet and greet service and they asked me for toll tax for returning the car without reciept. Old car - I was provided an Innova with almost 120000 kms on it. Not at all as per avis standard. Unprofessional Service - I had to pick and drop driver.

Still overcharging
Pros: Pick up and drop off went smoothly
Cons: The rate being charged is over 1/3 more than that contracted. We've spoken several times to the local office which promises to reverse the excess charges but nothing has as yet happened after more than a week An employee asked to escort me to the car -- after the paperwork was completed at the office --attempted to hustle me by claiming that a new policy prevented him from handing the keys to some one without an Indian drivers license. When I stood my ground, he relented, but then explicitly asked for money. The car was dirty and far from one that would qualify as fit for rental in the u.s. notwithstanding that the rental was comparable to u.s rates

AVIS India is a fraud service : Dont rely on them. Dont book them -
Cons: I booked a rental car with AVIS in India( Bangalore Airport) . Neither they delivered the car nor they informed that they are unable to deliver the car. It is purely a fraud service . They have no office or responsible person. All they have is a call centre in Delhi that can not help you in any way It was a humiliating experience to wait in the airport for more than 2 hours and realize that I was cheated..... No response for the complaint launched in AVIS India and US office
