Dale (customer service) was Great, efficient, quick, got me an upgraded car because the original was too small for me to be comfortable for the week. I needed to extend my rental for a few days...he actually answered the phone, accessed my account, took care of it in under a minute. You guys have a very happy customer for the future. One thing though...I think the former customer ignored the NO SMOKING, I think it was in the recirculate air mode filter.

Èverything but pick up was positive. Line to pick up car was long. Waited 45 min to get to the counter. Then had to wait 20 min for the vehicle to be ready.

Pros:

Pick up was good. Drop off no one anywhere so had to leave keys in a box. Would have like a to be checked out and get a receipt.

Cons:

The tumbler when you turned the key stuck sometimes so you had to play with it to get it to turn. New Car strange!

Car was dirty. Eaten sunflower seeds, drinks, and trash all in it. Sticky stuff everywhere. Car was NOT full of gas. Started with 50 miles less than I returned it with, AT LEAST. Rip off for sure. Not using Hertz again.

We reserved a premium car. None were available (I understand) and we were given a Ford Ecosport. The smallest of SUV's. When we asked for a rate adjustment, they refused. Also the two drivers side tires were extremely low on pressure and missing valve stem caps. It is extremely difficult to find a source for airing up tires. When we returned to Sarasota, the pickup return location was chaotic. No one present to help, we didn't receive a final receipt, and the service overall was extremely poor. I guess the public are at the rental car companies mercy these days. Very disappointing.

Was given a "Supplier's Choice" car which meant the smallest, dirtiest car in their inventory. I can only imagine few people want a Ford Fiesta that was not only tiny but also still dirty. Both the mirrors and side windows were obstructed by what looked like water stains and finger prints. My partner and I were too tired and in a hurry to go back and change the vehicle at the time of pickup but should I ever use Hertz in Knoxville again I will be double checking the vehicle quality and size before driving off. Book "Supplier's Choice" at your own risk. The cost was only slightly reduced at the time of booking for the inconvenience that the vehicle provided.

My plane was called back to the gate twice, putting me in Knoxville at 1220 am. The agent said that the deal was canceled because it was after midnight. He then tried to rent me a car for over 7 hundred dollars more than the original price. I got a car at Budget later that morning for less than the price of the original lease.

I made reservations for a vehicle, paid for a vehicle rental, received a confirmation, but no vehicle was available for me. I have tried to resolve this issue by speaking with someone and have had very little success. I would like a refund but can't get in touch with anyone.

Pros:

Smooth process. Pickup was simple, the car (a RAV4) was brand new and clean, the drop off was seamless. I can't understand why anybody would go to one of those other pricey car rentals when this one was as perfect as it gets!

Cons:

Honestly....nothing could have been improved. I bet I didn't spend more than 5 minutes TOTAL at the rental car counter and that includes pickup and drop off! Price was great, car was great, customer service was great. Seriously...nothing could have been improved.

Pros:

Nice car, easy drop off procedure.

Cons:

I arrived after 9:00pm because of a late flight which meant the booth was closed but thankfully the lady from Avis in the same booth managed to get me the car I had booked. Otherwise I'd have had to get a taxi and come back in the morning.
