Cons:
We were told this Avis pickup was at the Almaty, Kz airport. That was not the case and not speaking the language, it was difficult to communicate. We finally took a half hour taxi to where we told we could pick up the car, The Intercontinental Hotel, and even though on our reservation it was represented that this would be open 24/7, which we needed since we arrived after 1:00 a.m., this office was closed, that we should return at 10:00 a.m. We then had to walk to our hotel with our bags and immediately canceled the reservation upon these misrepresentations.Car hire locations in or near Almaty
