Pros: Tamboho Boutik Hotel is very well located at the Tana Waterfront. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Wonderful restaurant on site with a chef that produces local food with a french twist. Rooms are spacious and clean and great wifi.

Cons: Nothing to fault

Pros: Great location and secured in a middle of the Tana Water front mall and next to the cinema. Staff were friendly, helpful and reactive. Free shuttle to airport. Breakfast was good in term of quantity but just OK for quality.

Pros: Everyone was really kind and helpful. Excellent WiFi. Good restaurant. Free navette from and to the airport. Good location if you don't have to go to the city centre. Safe neighborhood.

Pros: I liked the location, the hotel was set up in a very western fashion which is difficult to find throughout Madagascar.

Cons: On our arrival we were to have them pick us up at the airport, for some reason we were not on their scheduled pick up, but we saw their van at the airport and they took us to the hotel.

Pros: This hotel has exceptional panoramic views of the city. There was a lovely shared balcony attached to my room as well as the dining terrace. The gardens were beautiful as was the decor. Staff was excellent.

Cons: Cleanliness of my room could have been a bit better.

Pros: Room #2 was magnificent & the omelet with bacon was super nice as was the fruit, bread, and coffee. The Punjabi Butter Chicken was also excellent. The safe was friendly, helpful, and help arranged a car to the airport. The driver was on time, spoke English well, and was a very safe driver.

Cons: Sadly, the local sweet wine was not of good taste or quality :( but also not expensive.

Pros: The hotel is showing signs of wear and tear but we enjoyed our 5 days here. A good location, very good restaurant and the staff, without exception, were excellent.

Pros: Everything. The staff treated me like family. They were kind, helpful and went out of their way to make sure my plans worked out. The bed was incredible as were the sheets. The restaurant is fantastic and reasonably priced. It’s a very cozy property and the water is hot!

Cons: The person doing my checking could not handle my credit cards for 10 mins. After several failures, one more experienced staff did it all in a minute and left to greet other customers. The Checking person then charged my account with more than double to what it should hv been so much so that when i checked out, the hotel was still owing me a huge amount of money.

Cons: The restaurant staff could have been friendlier and less keen to finish serving my dinner (allowed me to take my time). There was no bacon available for breakfast and the sausages were minute.

Pros: I didn't except such a large apartment! very new en clean! the rooms are cleaned daily as in an hotel! breakfast was fine too! de location was ideal if you want to see the palace of the queen: it's a reasonable walk from the apartment uphill. feels save by daylight. afterwards we walked down the whole end to the center & after dark we took the taxi back;

Pros: The two bedroom apartment is big size with a kitchen and modern bathroom. The hot water shower is very good. (During my 16 day trip around Madagascar, nearly all the hotels arranged by my travel agent doesn't have good water pressure.) I feel being back home once stepping into this apartment.

Cons: The staff working at night doesn't really speak English. It caused me a big shock when they told me I was not booked in. But it is not a big issue as my taxi driver helped me to communicate with them and settled the problem.

Pros: The hotel employees are very friendly and helpful. Speaking good english, flexible and willing to help anytime. Food was good as well and has good price. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. The hotel is in the city centre, close to the market. Also offers reliable airport transfer with good price. Had a very nice time :)

Cons: Breakfast should be prepared better: yu can have breakfast until 10:00am, however 8:45am is already barely anything left. A better refill would be nice. The bathroom is really pretty, however needs a DOOR / closed walls. Some stuff needs some more privacy than a bamboo courtain...

Pros: My pork chop meal for dinner was clean, delicious and filling. The staff is always very helpful and hospitable. The location is also convenient for reaching many downtown locations. Finally, the gym is very well serviced and a hard-to-find commodity in this area.

Cons: The bed was a little hard and the breakfast was strange. The options for dinner were excellent, but I would have preferred more meat and less bread for the breakfast. Also it would have helped me to have the gym open earlier than 0700.

Pros: Had a great time. Rooms are nice enough, breakfast was good. For the evening menu I would have liked to have seen more vegetarian options. Pool and garden was great. The general outside of the buildings are a little run down but maintenance was taking place during our stay. The rooms are clean and fairly modern.

Pros: Quiet location, attentive staff, great breakfast and small pool to cool off in. Also accepted credit card payment.
