Hotels near Urumqi airport

Pros: The suite we were upgraded to was very comfortable

Cons: Too far from yhe centre; Bad smell in the bathroom

Pros: Perfect place, very cooperative, exceptional service. They did their best, even though my flights were all messed up and I arrived well in advance in the middle of night. Probably one of the best places I've stayed at during the last few years

Pros: Splendid and imposing environment, fantastic breakfast, very kind staff..

Cons: English of the staff is poor.. especially at the reception it is something that should improve.

Pros: It’s big hotel in a reasonable location. It’s clean and the rooms, albeit dated for a five star are spacious.

Cons: It simply doesn’t have the facilities to justify being five star. There is no bar, the lobby area had the lights out when I stayed and the price is very high compared with what you can get elsewhere in Xinjiang. In fact there are five stars in Chengdu that are cheaper, more modern and with better facilities. The mini bar was empty too so you would need to brave the cold to the nearest shop to get a snack or a drink!

Cons: If is difficult deal with the staff since most of them don’t speak English though hotel is international.

Pros: The room was nice, the staff were friendly and the food was very good, that is breakfast.

Cons: International TV was missing except for CNN.

Pros: A very pleasant luxury hotel. A very comfortable room, witth high-end styling and fittings.

Pros: The hotel is clean.

Cons: Staff didn't speak English and the booked room was not available upon our arrival. It took 1.5 hours (!) to get another room and to get internet access. Breakfast choices limited and tastes dull. A.C. did it work in the room.

Pros: The hotel was beautifully AC'd and the front desk staff was super professional and patient working with us through the booking.com issues.

Cons: The hotel was great, what wasn't great was that booking.com actually didn't manage to book us a spot there although we were "confirmed" there (we could still login and see that our booking was confirmed) there wasn't any booking (the front desk bent over backward to try to locate the booking and we spent 2 hours on the phone with booking.com but they insisted they "couldn't contact the hotel directly" due to "limits in the type of booking") We were severely disappointed after nearly a decade of using booking.com how awful the service was. We even tried for last 30 minute to get the service lady (Gene, whose supervisor was Lauel) to give us her supervisor but she came back from 10minute "wait, I'll get him" intervals to say "Sorry you can't talk to him" and repeated this cycles thrice to our incredible frustration. They refused to even cancel it so that we could make another booking. This was a horrible experience, and much kudos to the hotel for giving us a discount on a more expensive room after the 2 grueling hours, but booking.com's lack of ownership over the issue and blatantly evading our attempts to escalate was terrible.

Pros: Room, location and breakfast

Cons: Staff was almost rude and unhelpful. No one spoke a little English.

Pros: The meal at the restaurant was one of the best we had in 3 weeks in China.

Cons: No wifi access without having a Chinese phone number. Listed facilities included a bar, there wasn't one. The hotel was fine, but for the price, expectations are for something more special.

Pros: LOCATION AT AIRPORT . Only good things , price are expensive, staff poor englihs, food not too good.

Pros: the breakfast is good.

Cons: the towels in the toilet are not clean. I don't think they gave us clean towels. the beds are uncomfortable.
