Pros: Excellent staff Great food Great location, seems secluded but a beautuful path in to the city is a great surprise Love the pool areas as well as the ⛱
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Everything was great, the staff were super attentive and helpful, breakfast and dinner were included with our room and was so good! We had a great view from.our balcony and it was a short walk to the beach and downtown area, I would definitely recommend! staying here!
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Abundant wildlife and extremely friendly staff
Excellent 10,0
Pros: The staff was amazing, the private beach was beautiful and location and activity tours were awesome!! We will be back sooner rather than later.
Excellent 8,0
Pros: The hotel was gorgeous and amazing! I never had a chance to swim in the beautiful pool, but loved hanging out and taking photos in the cabanas. The walk to the beach and the main road is very secure and attractively landscaped. I loved the available beach front property. I swam in the pool there and enjoyed relaxing in the cabana during a rainstorm. The food for breakfast was nice, especially the fruit, waffles, and omelettes. The dinners were pretty good, very nicely presented, but not that tasty. The room was nice and I like the original set up of the hotel. It was perfectly quiet and serene at the property. They provided champagne and chocolate strawberries for my birthday.
Cons: The front desk staff. Both of the women employed were under trained and unhelpful. It was a struggle to get tours booked, Covid tests, or ask questions about our rooms. When we checked in it felt cold and unwelcoming until an other staff member (all other staff were very nice!) offered to help us with our bags and asked if we were offered welcome cocktails yet. It was very frustrating each time we needed the front desk’s help which greatly affected my stay. It was very hard to change our reservations or ask for special requests being that they have “reservation” staff that work limited hours. One of my friends was unable to join us because she had Covid, and they would not let us make changes nor did they book two rooms near each other for our party of 3. The beds were hard and pillows too thick. I had a hard time sleeping. I would have rather slept in the cabanas! Sad there was no hot tub.

Excellent 9,0
Pros: We had a wonderful time. The staff is great and friendly. The food was great. We felt very much at home.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Everything was beautiful and an amazing experience
Excellent 9,0
Pros: After loving the stay 15 years ago, we despised to return. The facilities were very well kept and rooms are huge. Rooms do not have beach view as they are set back a bit in the trees but balconies are very enjoyable with beautiful landscapes grounds. The private beach lounge area is amazing with plenty of loungers for the guests. This is a small lodge like hotel which is why we love it and is very private.
Cons: The beds could use a comfort upgrade. The drinks (which can be amazing) were variable depending on the bartender. One of the bartenders measured the rum so strictly it killed the cocktail and it was not worth our time so after a few disappointing fruit cocktails, we just made our own in the room to enjoy on the beach.
Excellent 8,0
Pros: Private location
Cons: Spa is not somprivate
Excellent 9,0
Pros: Location was amazing, best part of the beach! Beach chairs were available to guests and comfortable. Rooms were clean, house keeping did a great job.
Cons: there were a lot of bugs in the room and somehow sand crabs would get in at night and scurry around the room.
Excellent 9,0
Pros: We really enjoyed the chill feeling at the hotel and around the grounds and beach. The staff were very helpful, friendly and efficient. The bungalow was superb, well-appointed and private. The town of Tamarindo was just a pleasant 10 minute walk along the beach.
Cons: The food was just OK. The layout and content of breakfast buffet wasn't so good.

Excellent 10,0
Pros: The rooms and grounds
Cons: The food options at the restaurant.
Excellent 9,0
Pros: cleanliness
Cons: everything was good
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Cala Luna is located in a jungle full of animals. Best of all there are 4 cats on the property who provide ample entertainment. The rooms are spacious, modern and clean. The staff is very helpful. They provide their whatsup number so you can text if you need anything from a taxi from downtown to arranging a full day excursion. They can also arrange your covid test. The adjacent beach is 1 minute walk and you can massages there. It’s a natural beach full of shells. This was a dreamy vacation in a beautiful setting.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: We stayed 2 nights and had the best time. The beach is a 2 minute walk away, Playa Langosta. It’s a little away from the main Tamarindo beach and so beautiful! The hotel itself is gorgeous, surrounded by nature and the room was clean and comfortable. We had the best time and hope to be back!
Excellent 9,0
Pros: Excellent location. Very near from the beach with an almost private access
Cons: The room does not have enough sound insulation, so it was easy to hear noise from the other room next door.
Good 6,0
Pros: The breakfast was great, most of the staff were really nice. Private secluded room with beautiful foliage surrounding.
Cons: Felt like we did not get enough for the amount we paid. Firstly, we paid extra for “Adult Only” which did not give us any extra perks whatsoever. Secondly the staff at reception were not very friendly and did not offer to help my wife with her bags while showing us to our room. For paying “luxury” price, we were not treated as such. It was also quite far from town, 25 min walk, but they did offer free bikes to borrow.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Everything from the staff to the services and the locations. Their attention to details was amazing
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Personalized experience. good facility. close to town.
Cons: Slightly older facility

Excellent 10,0
Pros: The hotel is well located in the middle of Tamarindo. The rooms were great value and neat. The pool was nice and very clean. The staff was very friendly, uncomplicated and forthcoming. We could book tours directly over the reception. We could spontaneously book an additional night without a problem.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: The owner helped make sure my wifi signal was strong and even rebooted the router to make sure everything worked. Class act.
Cons: The bathroom fooe, when I first came in, still had some sand from the previous occupants. Minor issue.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Good location, great comfy room!
Excellent 10,0
Pros: nice location, good spot.
Excellent 9,0
Pros: The staff (the managers Bielka, Sebastian and Sarah) were phenomenal. They were very helpful. The villas and the facility was exactly how they were depicted in the pictures.
Cons: There is nothing I didn't like. Maybe the furniture in the living room could be replaced with newer and more comfortable ones. But this is really not a big deal.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: this place is so wonderful!!! I loved to just hang in my hammock and look at the pool or the rain poring down... the room was very clean, big and the bed and pillows.. I slept like a baby!!! the kitchen and your own fridge is a big plus!!! the pool ist great if you have enough from the beach. the cleaning service and the staff (especially Sarah) are all very nice, kind, helpful and always look after you and wanna make you feel like home! there is a supermarket on the corner and down the street lots of places to eat and shop. perfect location close to the beach and main street and action but far enough so it's not noisy. the beach is just 5 mins walking down the street and you will see an amazing sunset there.
Cons: nothing ;)
Excellent 10,0
Pros: I wish we could stay longer. Great location, walking distance to the beach and other attractions. The room is very spacious, has a TV, AC, fridge, outside table and hamack and pool 😁

Excellent 9,0
Pros: The staff was great, excellent morning coffee The room is nice and cozy. There is comfortable parking place.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: the place was great, everything was clean and the staff was great.
Excellent 9,0
Pros: See above Nothing negative comes to mind Probably would be better if restaurant wasnt separately run. I didn't get discount advertised but menu and food were excellent. Service fine but not a place to eat if in a hurry.
Cons: I found my stay here to relax and recuperate perfect. Staff are friendly, helpful, professional. Also very respectful of privacy. I changed rooms for personal reasons but both were spotless with all the amenities needed for comfortable stay. Close to centre and not too far from beach Lovely pool and surrounding gardens They meet your requests
Good 7,0
Pros: Great location. Breakfast not included.
Cons: Better coffee machine, microwave in room
Excellent 10,0
Pros: We were there for our 50th anniversary and they made it very special for us. The restaurant serves up great food. You have to try the chicken pate if they are serving it - best ever!
Cons: Leaving was sad.
Mediocre 2,0
Pros: Pool looked nice but weather was bad Bad breakfast Closed for dinner which was probably a big favor Bugs everywhere in the room Dirty sheets
Cons: Can’t blame them for the weather Nice receptionist tried to help find food Dirty bug infested room Couldn’t wait to leave
Excellent 9,0
Pros: facility is older /no frillls but very well maintained and clean
Excellent 9,0
Pros: I lovee this place! It was like staying in a cool-kid tree-house bungalow type place minus the tree and the bugs! The pool was the perfect temperature, staff was friendly, the location CANNOT be beat. The location was great because it was super close to everything but off the main roads for quiet. Tamarindo is a noisy town and this hotel was very quiet, calm and serene. We met the owner randomly and he was very kind and welcoming. We didnt eat here but the restaurant seemed very popular and was quite busy in the evening. Our bed was a bit firm but otherwise good, and the AC worked well. The bathroom was nice. Shampoo, lotion, conditioner, handwash, fresh towels (and extras), as well as a full-size blowdryer were provided. A safe is also included. TV was not a smart TV so limited channels for when you need a break from the heat.
Cons: Breakfast not included due to "COVID" but all our other hotels in CR had breakfast. Lame.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: It was beautiful, luxurious at a reasonable price, I had a big room that was always clean. The hotel is a 1 min walk to the grocery store or the gym and a 5min walk to all the shops, bars and restaurants (some are even closer) and a 7min walk to the beach - absolutely perfect. The staff was very kind and the restaurant in the hotel was reaallyy good!! I highly recommend! 10/10!!
Excellent 8,0
Pros: Rooms were clean. Private nice for couples
Cons: Far from beach. Need to work on the very simple breakfast menu
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Arco Iris had a great feel to it. The pool is very nice. Richard is a super cool guy and is extremely friendly. We had to leave at 4:00 am to catch our flight and Richard gave us some fruit, muffins, and juice. He offered that up without us even asking. We were very happy with the location. You are just far enough from the noise of the main street, but still able to walk to everything. The beach is maybe a 5 minute walk. There is a walking path from the hotel to a road with tons of great restaurants. If you feel like staying in for a nice meal, they lease their dining space to one of the best restaurants in Tamarindo, Seasons by Shlomy. We traveled to 4 different cities in Costa Rica and this hotel was our favorite by far.
Cons: The air conditioner in our room was kind of weak. It worked a little better at night. We weren't around much during the day so it didn't bother us much.

Cons: Nothing
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Location location location
Cons: Room layout a bit awkward
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Proximity to the beach
Excellent 8,0
Pros: Friendly staff, good food, great 2 for 1 happy hour all the time, beautiful sunset view! The room was like a loft and you could see ocean when you sat up in bed in the morning.
Cons: The parking situation was tight and there was a sewage smell walking from the car to the room. Also, we thought we had the option to purchase breakfast, but they didn't serve breakfast or coffee.
Excellent 9,0
Pros: The rooms were so charming with Costa Rican beach flair! The location is ideal, with massages (affordable and yet still expert), an excellent restaurant on site with nightly shows from local artists, and right next door, you have everything you could want in terms of rentals and guides (also affordable and expert). I highly recommend this property!
Cons: The gate situation is tricky, but the staff is always nearby, and it is on the beach, so you need to be okay with sand everywhere, which we were.
Excellent 9,0
Pros: From the minute I drove up everyone was so helpful! I got checked in very easily and they stored my bags because I arrived early and check in wasn't until 3pm. Everyone was so helpful! The accommodations were wonderful! I loved the use of the space. Very comfortable! I enjoyed sitting in the hammocks by the ocean. The hotel is very relaxing!
Cons: There was nothing I didn't like. This place and location were fabulous!

Excellent 10,0
Cons: The lack of reception office hours, makes the hotel more like an air bnb. The airline lost our luggage, definitely not the hotels fault but it made the delivery of the luggage very difficult.
Excellent 9,0
Pros: Breakfast was made, per order, from a great fixed menu. Hot or cold the food was tasty and nutritious. But, the best part was the spontaneous conversation with both staff and other travelers. We had another hotel booked and were looking at a 1.5 hour taxi ride. The Lady that prepares breakfast found another tenant that not only took us from hotel to hotel, at no charge, but was a most interesting person to travel with. Walter whom does seemingly all room cleaning and facility maintenance always has a smile. Please remember to tip these people. A little can really help a lot. Thanks Paola and your staff.
Excellent 8,8
Pros: Very comfortable establishment in a quiet location with a reasonable size pool in a tropical setting. Good selection for breakfast and delicious. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room.
Cons: A little overpriced but there again so is almost everything in Tamarindo.
Excellent 9,0
Pros: Lovely pool with tropical landscaping. Our room was large with a king sized bed. Breakfast was included which included homemade baked goods and delicious granola parfaits.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: I enjoyed the pool, the atmosphere, the breakfasts, and the people we met. I highly recommend this hotel. It was one of the best hotels that we stayed in while in Costa Rica.
Cons: There was nothing we didn’t like. It isn’t a 5 star but it is a charming place!
Excellent 10,0
Pros: This is the 2nd year in a row we have stayed at Hotel Flores and in the same room - the apartment for 3. Plenty of space with a kitchenette, clean, and nice common area. The hotel is very convenient walk to the beach, shopping, and restaurants. The best way to walk to the beach is to turn left at the first main intersection then take the first right. The beach is straight ahead. For shopping, stay to your right at the main intersection. The breakfast is made fresh and very good.
Cons: N/A
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Great Breakfast, very helpful, fantastic location.

Mediocre 3,0
Pros: not much
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Breakfast...service.
Excellent 8,0
Pros: Well, ours was a strange experience as we showed up the day after the hotel was sold. The old owner wasn't expecting us and the new owner hadn't taken over yet. After the initial confusion, we had a comfortable night in a clean room for a discounted price.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: The location is very walkable to the beach, shop, restaurants, and groceries. The grounds are immaculate, the bungalows are unique and super cute, breakfasts are made to order, and the staff is fantastic. I lost the diamond out of my engagement ring, and immediately the man I told vacuumed the entire pool for me and emptied out the filter boxes to check for it, and had other employees sweep all the sidewalks. I could not have asked for more or better help looking for it.
Cons: The mattresses are very hard. I hesitate to even mention anything negative because overall the place was amazing, ESPECIALLY for the price, but this is important for people who are sensitive the sleeping surfaces. My husband and kids all slept fine, but my back hurt so badly from the mattress that I couldn’t sleep. If I could find a place to buy a mattress topper, I would totally do that and stay here again b/c the rest of my experience was so wonderful.
Good 7,9
Pros: Very peaceful place.
Cons: Breakfast was just ok. Our main concern was that we had dozens and dozens of ants in our room, bathroom...

Pros: The pool was a great asset to the hotel. The owner of the hotel was very helpful to plan all of our excursions and other recommandation (restaurants, beaches, stores...). The staff were polite and so nice with the kids. The room was fun to stay in and the little kitchen allowed us to make food when we wanted to.
Cons: I was expecting a little bit more fruit for breakfast as the variety and accessibility of fruit is huge in Costa Rica.
Excellent 8,0
Pros: I loved the quiet location and short walk to the beach and shops. The hotel has lovely staff and owners that are helpful.
Cons: The uneven and dusty roads nearby but that's part of being in Costa Rica.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Loved the pool with a swim up bar. Staff and owner were very helpful. Met people from multiple countries staying there.
Excellent 8,0
Pros: The juice was great. The beds we're Nice
Cons: The breakfast wasn't That great. The croissant was dry. the options we're limited and the amount of food was small. More Small appliances in the rooms would be nice, like a blender or toaster.
Excellent 8,8
Pros: Hotel Luna Llena was amazing we were traveling with a 8 month old so we really enjoyed the quiet setting, just a block away from the beach and the main part of Tamarindo, we had a car rented but didnt have to drive unless we left town. Clean rooms and friendly staff we stayed in bungalow 6, it had a loft with two twin beds and the main floor had a king bed with a kitchen and bathroom. Cable TV, we don't speak spanish but was good to have cartoons for the little one. All the rooms are centered around the pool offering food and drinks from noon-3 and 6-9PM. The landscaping was very nice, providing privacy, quiet and just a calm vibe, very relaxing, we enjoyed spending time there.
Cons: Wifi signal was weak in the room, good around the pool. Beds were a little too hard for our liking.

Excellent 9,0
Pros: Tamarindo Blue Apartments was very nice. The host met us when we arrived and showed us to the apartment. The apartment was huge and had two separate bedrooms on two floors. Everything was fantastic.
Mediocre 2,0
Pros: The pool area and the maintenance people are super friendly and helped with all the requests. My bad review is mainly for the owner, not the staff
Cons: The apartment is very poor conditions. Appliances barely work and their is a smell of sewage all the time. Would not recommend anyone to stay there ever.
Excellent 8,0
Pros: It is affordable for what you get, and is close to the beach. You won’t find a better deal for a property anywhere.
Cons: I didn’t find anything that I disliked.
Good 7,0
Pros: The location was ideal
Cons: The common space in the unit wasn't that comfy
Poor 1,0
Pros: Location was good, nothing else good
Cons: Plumbing or piping system made screeching noise all night, we had to leave in middle of the night, never had to do this anywhere before. Host was not sympathetic the next day. Place was not clean. Not worth it!
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Close to the beach, friendly owner, amenities
Cons: No restaurant on-site
Mediocre 2,0
Pros: Nothing
Cons: The place was disgusting, I should had listen to reviews bout rooms not being clean but I gave it the benefit of doubt. First the pillows had hair on them, the towels in the bathroom were like stain with paint or something and worse part is the bathroom smelled like week old sweaty clothes( not exaggerating). There was a shirt hanging on curtains from previous guest. There was a fridge but it didn't work! I left the place, there was no way I could sleep there let alone shower and use those towels. The pics are deceiving and I don't know who reviewed this place but my experience was. Awful!

Good 7,0
Pros: Private parking, great pool ( not cold so you can go in at night) Bog rooms, great location. Comfortable beds
Cons: The water in the shower was cold! And then on the second night the flow of the water was very weak! The wifi is not working everywhere. Is wasn't so clean, is the second room there was hair on the walls in the shower.

Pros: Everything Twotwo is the most amazing staff member ever
Cons: Mosquitos
Good 6,0
Pros: Garden incl. pool was nice
Cons: Bungalow where smaller than described.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Beautiful and peaceful stay! Clean, good attention, beautiful common areas, rooms good size
Excellent 10,0
Pros: The property was so beautiful and cozy. Beautiful pool to relax in, beautiful grounds and hammocks at every patio. We actually ended up booking a second time in this trip we enjoyed the property so much. The location was perfect and walkable to the food truck park, restaurants & the beach. The breakfast was delicious and VERY generous portions. One of our travelers left her passport by mistake and the staff here was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! Her passport somehow came out the cover, so we had no idea it was even missing until they notified us. They were so amazing arranging having it shipped it us where we were in our travels through Costa Rica. Definitely saved as a fav for my next visit!
Excellent 8,0
Pros: We enjoyed our stay at Pasatiempo. It felt like a little jungle oasis tucked away from all the noise of Tamarindo, yet conveniently located in walking distance of our favorite restaurants like Nalu, Nordic Coffee, Tico, el marcadito, and of course the beach. The room was clean, staff was friendly, the pool was nice but could’ve been cleaned a little more. The rooms come with an expresso machine and the first pod is on the house, a bit strong for my taste but my partner loved it. The bed was super comfortable, the wifi was good and the AC was perfect. Unfortunately We didn’t get a chance to eat at the restaurant on-site, so can’t comment on that. Overall we would stay again.
Cons: When running the shower there was a an interesting smell, but not really uncommon in Costa Rica.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Everything was just wonderful
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Wonderful location, pool, pool bar & restaurant. The staff were incredibly accommodating, friendly, and helpful. The property is beautiful, and close to stores, restaurants, and the beach. We can’t wait to return!

Cons: breakfast was okay.

Excellent 10,0
Pros: Really nice staff, great and Clean Hostel. The best in Tamarindo, since i tried a bunch! Great breakfast and a Lot of Games Like a fusball (Tischkicker) or tabletennis.
Good 7,1
Pros: Funky place with a steady flow of interesting people. Mostly younger surfer types but a few oldsters like me too.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Friendly and helpful staff. Lovely atmosphere. Hostel was clean and looked after. Location was perfect. One of the evenings had live music ;)
Excellent 10,0
Pros: The staff was super nice. The kitchen was spacious and well equipped (there are two kitchens). The room was spacious and had a mosquito net. The common areas were really cool and comfortable. There was live music during the evening. They gave us a promotional bracelet for the Friday party which saved us some money. The location is good, close to the supermarket, ATM and nice restaurants, not too far from the beach. There's private parking next to the entrance.
Cons: Breakfast was a bit strange (cereal and some sort of tortilla). The room was pretty dark. No hot water, but we expected that.

Excellent 8,3
Pros: It is beautiful and a great value. Getting out to Playa Azul is a nightmare. On a dangerous road for 18 miles takes you to a magnificent place nits a shame they don’t offer helicopter shuttle service from Liberia to that area.
Cons: It was rainy season and everything was not set up. No Yoga, limited activities. Horseback riding was amazing on the beach!! Small boutique hotel.
Good 6,0
Pros: Location
Cons: Noisy rooms , staff not friendly
Okay 5,0
Pros: I would have rated all as good/great but we had no hot water in the room I paid additional to upgrade. I was told at check out they would refund the upgrade fee but that never happened. Once home I called and again was told it was being processed that day. Still did not happen, emailed twice with no response. I am saddened to give a poor review as otherwise everything was great. The location was great and all staff with the exception of the supervisor who didn’t process the refund were great.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Being ground floor beach side. The patio to sit outside and read, have coffee, or a drink.
Cons: Not a big deal but the safe needed a better and to be reprogrammed, TV remote needed batteries replaced, and the the shower stopped working. It seems to be an easy fix because it was fixed while we had breakfast.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Location location location
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Room view and location was excellent. Close to beach and the beach was amazing. Location was great for places to eat and shop. Staff was helpful and friendly. Tourist desk staff was great.
Cons: Breakfast was okay and not much variety.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: The food and staff were GREAT! Our room was clean and spacious, the safe gave us no problems and the location was amazing. There was construction during our stay but you could barely tell unless you were in the middle of It. I would hands down stay again.
Cons: Nothing to complain about.
Excellent 9,4
Pros: We loved the location, surfing, tour organizing, pools
Cons: Kids club would be great
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Resort was very nice and in a great location. Room was clean and right on the beach. Staff was friendly and very helpful.
Cons: No guests are allowed in rooms.
Excellent 10,0
Cons: Great Location
Excellent 8,2
Pros: Location, location ,location Food was great
Cons: A/c was very weak even after staff adjusted it. Beds outdated
Good 6,0
Cons: Front desk staff was not friendly and did not try to be accommodating to family traveling together. We had booked two rooms but was given two rooms that were on opposite ends of the resort.
Good 7,7
Pros: The location was great, the facilities were mostly cleaned (except for the one item I'll address in the next section), the staff was fairly helpful and we always felt secure.
Cons: About half of the breakfast items were uncovered so flies were constantly around or on the fruits and pastries. They clearly put a lot of effort into the morning preparation so I don't understand why they would leave so much of it uncovered. The hotel restaurant was pretty bad. The free breakfasts were good (except for the flies) but the lunches and dinners were very poor. The menu looks great but the actual food itself seemed very low quality. Luckily the hotel is surrounded by good restaurants so the poor hotel restaurant was not a huge issue for us.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Felling of being safe and close to beach
Cons: Nothing
Okay 5,4
Pros: Location is perhaps the most convenient in Tamarindo, the outdoor facilities by the beach are pretty ay-ok
Cons: The staff wasn't very accommodating / helpful. The king suite with balcony -- which seemed to be the nicest room available -- was mediocre. Quite a boring hotel experience overall for $250/night.
Excellent 8,5
Pros: Everything was excellent but the food, which was just ok - except the fresh Red Snapper we caught off shore that the hotel chef prepared Casado style. Clearly the highlight resort facility at Tamarindo, the staff was prompt, courteous, and attentive. We found excellent food an easy walk away, both beachfront brew house, fish shack, sushi, and high end seafood.
Cons: The complimentary breakfast and beach front bar food were average.
Excellent 8,2
Pros: Excellent location, access to beach, pools, included breakfast
Cons: Extremely loud and weak air conditioner. Terrible shower with extremely weak water pressure.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: You get a little bit of beach and a little bit resort and a little bit local town, all in one great, compact resort...though it is not small by any means. Great breakfast!
Cons: Nope. Liked it all a great deal.

Excellent 10,0
Pros: Loved the location and breakfast!
Cons: The pool could be cleaned more often and the beds could have been more comfortable.
Excellent 9,0
Pros: Comfortable bed, nice pool and bar
Cons: Unpainted walls, hot water doesn't work
Excellent 8,0
Pros: Staff and rooms view were amazing
Cons: The hill you had to walk to get to your room
Excellent 10,0
Pros: All the staff was very very lovely and nice
Cons: The beds and the service making the beds
Excellent 8,0
Pros: Location and stuff and the pool
Cons: The was not clean
Excellent 8,0
Cons: I had to wait under the rain to get my room
Okay 5,0
Pros: The breakfast servers were really nice and helpful, also the old Gentleman working at the gate was very helpful as well.
Cons: Misleading pictures. Small room. Needs a better second floor “parking area” If you go with a family of 4 or more you need to eat at separate tables and at different times, even though the space was big enough to accommodate everybody at the same time. The receptionist was very sarcastic and unhelpful.
Mediocre 3,1
Cons: We had a room right by pool. We were assured the pool would be closed at 10:00 pm. People kept us up until 3:00 am. A few hours later it was loud people outside the door and shortly thereafter were cleaning ladies with trash cans making their rounds. It was horrible. I didn't stay the other two nights I booked and was told they weren't responsible for returns since I purchased with a third party. When my third party tried to reach them, they didn't answer all day.
Excellent 9,4
Pros: I really liked the location of the hotel, even though it wasn't directly on the beach. But it was right in front, less than a 10 minute walk!! The pool area has a beautiful view of the beach to relax and enjoy. The reception office is a bit of a walk to get to but they are all helpful. They gave me advice regarding traveling by bus. The room is nicely decorated and the shower is pretty big! The bed was a tad small but overall great room.
Cons: I didn't like that you couldn't order room service, or I did not know how. I also didn't like the size of the bed but I understand I booked by third party so bed type isn't guaranteed.
Good 6,2
Pros: Location location location close to nice Tamarindo beach! Staff was cordial and rooms were decent with the breakfast reasonable.
Cons: Very Noisy adults only type party at bar on Friday night- could not sleep till past 2.15! Not what I had bargained for when booking the place. Facilities are ok- you get what you pay for.
Excellent 8,0
Pros: Really good value for the money. The reception staff were friendly and helpful. The grounds are generally fairly charming. Convenient, decent little view of the water from the restaurant pool area. The room was fully adequate. Housekeeping was good. When I requested an ironing board it came very promptly. Not right in town but a very short walk from the beach. Good restaurants within easy walking distance either way down the road. Bar serves plenty of beer and fine drinks.
Cons: The rooms and overall grounds are a bit tired and dated. This isn't a high-end luxury experience. The bar/pool/restaurant are equally sort of mid-range. Nothing wrong with them, but not swanky or particularly nice. The restaurant/bar is called Crazy Monkey... that should give you a notion. Just need to have appropriate expectations.
