Hotels near Shimla airport

Pros: The staff were exceptional, friendly and attentive. It was my husband and I's anniversary and we were treated to a beautiful bed of balloons, rose petals and towel swans as well as a cake. The valley view from the room was magnificent. The buffet breakfast has a great variety on offer and dinner I the restaurant was also delicious

Pros: We liked everything about Cecil. Staff there was so warm ... starting From the front desk Mr.Piyush,Mr.Ashish,Mr.Shubhang were so welcoming. For all our meals extra care was taken by chef Raj Kumar, Mr Vineet, Mr.Kashish , Ms Hakume,Mr.Karan,Mr Ravi , Mr Virendra and of course the rest of the staff.. They had a special baking activity for our kids and Ms.Anmol mad sure my kids have blast !! Also we had to leave early on the last day and we had requested for an early breakfast before the restaurant opens, and they made sure that the full breakfast was laid down - Mr.Aryaman and Mr.Saurab took extra care of us and also packed us some food for our journey ahead .. Surely recommend this hotel since everything was just up to the mark !!

Cons: It is not centrally heated and it is very grim side of it. Absolutely not to recommend in winters. Rooms are not heated as well, only on request you can have a heater or electric mattress.

Pros: A nice decorated room. Very nice view,big window, very clean and nice smell, the stuff was helpfull. And the food good, the loction very quite but the walk to the mall wasnt hard or steep so we enjoyed it alot.

Cons: We were alittle cold despite the heater we got. It was a very cold night in shimla. The location of the booking is not acurrate

Pros: The bed, the shower and space in the room were the best of our trip thus far. Staff were very friendly and helpful - providing us with a packed breakfast on our last day as we had to leave early. Stunning views over Shimla and short walk to the start of The Mall and ability to swap books is a nice idea

Cons: Perhaps just the steepish climb on foot to reach the lift after a long day of walking around Shimla - but the lift is a great idea and as we acclimatised to the altitude it got less daunting! But overall really good.

Pros: The fantastic view from our window and the hotel terraces The wonderful food served in the restaurant - at a decent price The laundry service And last but absolutely not least, the very nice and helpful staff

Cons: Nothing at all ..but be aware that a taxi cannot drive to it. You need to get a taxi to Marina Hotel, cross the road a little to the right and then get a porter to take your bags up the path

Pros: The place is almost inside the market. its a 5 minute walk. the area is safe even. event at night u can walk around. the staff are great and rooms are well maintained.

Cons: its it a no driving area. so have to wall to the hotel from the drop off point. which is around 10 minutes. you to pay the guys who are carrying the luggage. its not arranged by the hotel. the rooms are given without heaters during winter, you have to pay extra for that.

Cons: Very Very rude and unfriendly staff. Smelly rooms and bathrooms not clean. Not recommended at all . Not a good experience at all

Pros: Clean and spacious rooms..Courteous owner and staff.

Pros: Breakfast was ok and the staff very humble. Room upkeep was good and clean bathroom. Front desk staffs upon check-in was good but the next day, female staff was rather cold and unfriendly.

Cons: The fitness center was a disaster. It dosent exist. The pool table was severely run down. The only treadmill was covered with dirt and non operational.

Cons: It was quite a walk from the hotel to the mall road ans the ridge. Not very close to the centre point.

Cons: Bed sheets were not clean, They don't wash, they just roll them back as soon as you leave room as I forgot my mobile phone in room and came back and found same bed sheets and cushion covers rolled back on. Very unhygienic for kids and families. We made a big mistake. We booked super delux rooms and paid extra but they don't listen and lied and put us in a standard room. Very poor service. Avoid and never use
