Pros: I love the location because it is very convenient, i love the city view at night too. I like how their Comfort room is a little spacious compare to other hotel.

Cons: I think their walls are thin. 'Cause while we're walking at the hallway we were able to hear people talking while they were in their bedrooms, just like other hotels in Japan too.

Pros: Walking distance to the JR station, clean and large room, excellent and variate breakfast, professional and welcoming staff. We were surprised by the art collection on display at every floor! Thank you!!

Pros: It was easy to find and close to the station, where lots of food options were available. The beds are softer than the average hotel bed in Japan. There was a mix up and we were put in a smoking room, even though we wanted non-smoking, and the staff quickly changed rooms for us.

Cons: Wifi is only available in the 4th floor lounge and lobby but not the rooms.

Pros: The hotel's in a great location, with a walkway into the train station, so travel connections are great. It's a clean and comfortable place, with bright, adequately-sized rooms and friendly and efficient staff. We didn't use any of the facilities, but, after a hot day's sightseeing, to come back to a clean and relaxing room, and a powerful shower in a bright bathroom, was great.

Pros: Location perfect but the room is too hot couldn’t sleep though we turned off the airconditioning. I had the same problem before too when I stayed there.. We couldn’t sleep at night..

Cons: Room was too hot even with the heating system turned off... the last time I thought because of the heat outside but it’s winter now but no difference.. very disappointed I couldn’t enjoy holidays and my money

Pros: The room was westernized and spacious! We loved it due to having a little one with us! They provided a complementary crib in our room along with baby slippers, a small tooth brush, and a baby wash cloth. The hotel is very clean and the staff is incredibly nice and helpful! The hotel is located over the pedestrian bridge of the train station, at the bottom of the escalator. It’s very convenient for a quick walk to get food or coffee in the morning and of course accessing the train station. Our room was on the 16th floor with a beautiful view!! The top floor has a bar and lounge with the best views. It’s socially distanced and I watched them sanitize the entire area and chairs after every customer left. The drinks were also well made, craft style mixed drinks and delicious. (Pricing was higher but the they put serious time and effort into every drink and the view was worth it.)

Cons: The thing I'm actually really upset about is that I booked the hotel because of price and convenience. Then when I was already in my room they said they would charge and extra 2,000 yen for having another person in my room. This is a proper hotel, not some charge by the hour/person. That's why I'm giving it a not so positive review.

Pros: This hotel is convenient—it is literally connected to Okayama Station. It is also relatively new and has pretty big rooms. The staff were friendly, and spoke Japanese slowly so that I, as a beginner student at the language, could clearly understand them.

Cons: This hotel is priced somewhat high for a second-tier Japanese city like Okayama, especially when you consider that breakfast costs an additional ¥1,300 per day. This is strange, since most Daiwa Roynet locations offer free breakfast to all guests, without having to book it separately.

Pros: Friendly and professional staff, perfect location for anyone who uses trains and trams for as main means of transportation.

Cons: The air ventilation fan in the bathroom could be a little bit stronger.

Pros: I do love to take bath so that I picked this hotel. The facilities are much cleaner than I expected.

Cons: They have centralized air-conditioning so you can’t adjust the temperature. It’s just too hot even the electric fan can’t help.

Cons: The reviews about rooms smelling weird was right, even after we were reassured through message that we’ll get a freshly deodorized room. The check-in staff was not friendly or kind, not only she refused our request to leave our baggage there for one more day, she gave us false information about the lockers in the train station (you can leave it in the lockers for up to 3 days).

Cons: Bed was rather firm. Not the hardest hotel bed I've slept on in Japan but more firm than most. Pillow is small.

Pros: The hotel is conveniently located near the train station and shopping. Breakfast portions are large and the food was delicious! The hotel's hot bath, bathing facility was lovely, clean, and relaxing.

Pros: Good for a budget hotel (under $100/night) Fairly kid-proof Allowed bed-sharing with kids, so we had a twin room for a family of four (kids aged 1.5 and 4) Coin-operated laundry facilities available was a bonus Public bath on floor 10 was nice to have Breakfast buffet was good (cost extra) Great location less than 5 min from train station. Walk 5-10 min to get to loads of shopping, restaurants (giant Aeon mall opening next door in Dec 2014), 20 min stroll down busy/fun street to Okayama Castle and Gardens.

Cons: We travelled in November and it was hot, (22 C, around 70 F) but the A/C didn't work. I think they turn it off at a certain point in the year, so setting it at a low temp only blows air around the room. We had to crack the window but it only opens about 3-4 inches for safety reasons. The staff brought us a fan but then housekeeping took it away the next morning and we had to ask for it again. Minor issue but our Japanese was terrible so communication was slightly difficult.

Pros: The location is hard to beat as there's a giant Aeon shopping mall right next door, and a short walk to the station and the shops and restaurants around it. The room was attractive and clean, and the staff friendly.

Cons: Sleep was fitful as the beds were too soft and the pillows hard — a weird combination. The toilet and bathroom are combined and small, which makes doing anything in them a bit of a challenge if you're over 170 cm tall.

Cons: Maybe only my room but temperature control didn't appear to work. My room became too warm

Pros: The room was the most spacious of all APA hotels that I have been to. Facilities look new and well kept. Insulation in the room was great, and the heater was almost unneeded. Everything met my expectation, staff were helpful, courteous and great. Location is very near to the main station and AEON mall.

Cons: Would have been better if there was a wardrobe to store and hang clothes in.

Pros: Excellent check in, staff wonderful and efficient, top rate room and access to Okayama. Room cleaning staff were top notch and polite. Painless check in and check out. Shall stay again. Tried to book APA in Osaka for six nights (based on the Okayama experience), but no rooms available 😥.

Pros: Convenient location, friendly staff. Fresh croissants and bread rolls for breakfast. When we woke up in the morning, it was finally clear that Joe Biden won.

Cons: Sort of depressing building, probably built in the 1970ies; low ceilings, tiny windows, a carpeted floor you wouldn't really like to touch with bare feet (even more as we found a used make-up cotton bud on it), worn-out furniture. It's okay for one night, if you don't find anything else. I felt a bit sorry for the friendly people working there, because no matter what effort they make, this place will probably stay as it is.

Pros: Great location near the station, pubs, restaurants. Comfortable enough.

Cons: Not really their fault but you can tell they aren’t busy as before so their hospitality may have taken a dip (out of practice?) still good overall but my experience with staff was better when I stayed here a couple years ago. Facilities are a bit outdated, too.

Pros: Excellent location near the Korakuen Garden, castle and Yumeji Art Museum. Easy to reach by bus from the station. Nice room looking towards the garden and castle. Comfortable beds. Nice breakfasts especially when it was buffet style.

Cons: The room got very hot and we were unable to get the aircon to work.

Pros: We appreciated kindness of the staff people, clean rooms, very rich breakfast, beautiful view from rooms and breakfast hall.

Cons: The room smelled really bad. The walls are apparently paper thin. My neighbor complained while I watched Netflix on my iPad and later talking with my girlfriend at a normal volume. If you’re old or have knee problems you have to be EXTREMELY careful entering the bathroom. It’s really dangerous.

Cons: Old furniture with dusts and room with super dim yellow light which felt spooky. The hotel require refurbishment with the price charged.

Cons: Bathroom looks not clean. Old hotel inside, fashion look outside.
