Pros:
Amazing staff: friendly, helpful and attentive to your needs. Wonderful view overlooking the bay Residential neighbourhood Small Carrefour supermarket nearby (20mins walk) Tjibaou cultural center reasonably closeby (5 min drive)
Cons:
Very noisy hotel: this is a hotel where locals people also live, not only tourists who visit the country/city - some of these people receive visits from friends and make noise all night - I had to sleep with earplugs the whole week; Overpriced for tourists, locals or workers get a discounted price according to the French leaflet left on the reception desk; Scraped paint, leaky tap, cracks in wall, damaged bed leg, balcony not flash, broken paving stones at the swimming pool...; Poor lighting - no bulb in lounge/bedroom ceiling No plugs near bed tables No usb sockets No unlimited wifi - you have to purchase as extra (2100F) Pool is not watched Cleaning every other day Restaurant is closed at dinner time, only open for breakfast Located too far from city centre if you are a pedestrian - please be aware of this: you will need to use the public transport or book a rental car (be aware that space in parking is not guaranteed, we had to park in street), no restaurant nearby In conclusion a very old-fashioned building, such a great potential but not enough money put in there to maintain the facilities !!! Shop around!

Pros:
Fantastic location, not "in town" a bonus, lovely quiet not tourist neighbourhood. A short drive to excellent shops and brilliant restaurants. Staff were great. The apartments are very spacious and really well laid out and the kitchen etc had everything you could need. Each apartment have good balconies to sit on and enjoy the great views across the water. Small shop handy if you're caught short of basics, we didn't use it though, as there were plenty of shops not far away. You do need a car. Nice walk on the boardwalk in a park a short 5-10 minute walk away.
Cons:
While the rooms were all modern and recently renovated, there does need to be some more work on maintenance, not cleaning that was fine, just a few things starting to come adrift through normal wear and tear. Car park fills up on the weekend, we parked down the street one night, no problems as its a residential area.

Pros:
This hotel has a lovely location, beautiful water views from the balcony were a special treat in the evenings. It's a long way out of town though, with no nearby restaurants. This did not bother us as we had a car - you would definitely need transport - and it was beautifully quiet and private. We had an apartment so self-catered most of the time. We did not eat the hotel breakfast. The kitchen is adequate - there's a minimal number plates, glasses, pots, etc but adequate for two people. The apartment was large, on the first floor with perfect views across the water. The bed was comfortable, the hot water was abundant, and the wifi was pretty good. The apartment was serviced every second day, which was perfect.
Cons:
Lighting could be better. In the living room there was good lighting at the kitchen end but none at all at the seating end - OK if all you want to do is watch TV but no good for reading. Lighting in the bedroom is not very good either. Some small cushions on the couch would have been nice - it was essentially an extra bed with a back, too broad to be comfortable for your back to sit on for any length of time. A toaster would be good for anglo residents' breakfasts!!

Pros:
The view from the room is not bad.
Cons:
I booked the transportation from the airport but no one was there. There was no apology from the hotel at all. There is no restaurants and supermarkets around the hotel. It costs fortune to go to Nouméa city Centre by taxi. On Sunday and Monday, you have to go all way to Ansbata to find a restaurant coz Shops are closed in Nouméa. I would not go back to this hotel!

Pros:
Location on waters edge and close to domestic airport.
Cons:
Absolutely no drinking or eating facilities after breakfast time and very primitive self service for purchase of drinks or snacks. Could not understand why they could not use the excellent breakfast area overlooking the bay, as a bar for evening drinks?
