Excellent 8,0
Pros: Breakfast was great. The staff were very helpful. The boat tour was incredible (lots of whales)!
Excellent 8,0
Pros: It was bright and cheerful! The staff were courteous and helpful. The location was a little dodgy but close for walking everywhere.
Cons: Our unit was on the main level - off the courtyard. Every morning at 6:15 we were awoken by the sound of metal shutters being raised! They were around the breakfast area and very loud.
Excellent 8,0
Pros: position was fantastic. syaff very helpful, especially the night porter who sorted out our taxi to the airport at 5am when the one we had booked didnt turn up.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: It had good facilities, reasonably spacious rooms, friendly helpful staff and was in a good location towards one end of the resort

Pros: We had heard great things about this hotel from our friends but had never stayed here. Our friends were right. Clean and quiet rooms, great pool and hot tub and just happens to be attached to a fantastic restaurant called Vrentino’s. It is on the malechon but far enough down to be out of the hustle and bustle but close enough to walk to everything. This is an older place that has been around for many, many years but it is kept up very well.
Excellent 9,0
Pros: Breakfast was wonderful at the little restaurant right next door.
Cons: Maybe the water in the hot tub could have been a little bit warmer and with jets but really everything was great.
Excellent 10,0
Cons: Lovely rooms surroundings and staff
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Beautiful property, great location, wonderful pool and courtyard, great restaurant, friendly staff.
Excellent 9,0
Pros: Size of the suites are good. Bed is huge. At the end of the Malacon so quiet. A nice walk into the center. Restaurant is EXCELLENT. Baking is delicious and so nice to be able to purchase for morning or late night desserts. Grounds are beautiful. Lots of loungers and big pool towels. Lots of hot water for showers.
Cons: The pool is not heated and the hot spas were not working. The units could have better kitchen dishes/glasses/cutlery. We only had 1 wine glass, no table placemats and it is a glass table.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: This is a small hotel with a beautiful pool, garden and charming mexican-style cottage room. The service staff are very friendly, helpful and good at their job. The most helpful one was the younger front-desk staff - too bad we did not get the chance to tip him as we left because he was not on duty. The location of this hotel at the seaside promenade makes it a good choice too.
Cons: The room floor was dusty on our first night but got cleaned up the next day

Excellent 10,0
Pros: The rooms are big
Cons: The restaurant is expensive
Excellent 10,0
Pros: THE ROOM WAS EXCELLENT THOUGH WE WERE GIVENA DOUBLE BED ROOM. A SINGLE KING OR QUEEN BED WOULD HAVEBEEN BEETER
Cons: BREAKFAST COULD BE A LITTLE BIGGER. ONE HOTEL OFFERS A BIG VARIETY OF FOOD33
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Great location right on the Malecon. Clean, well maintained, continental breakfast is included in the onsite restaurant (prices for other items very reasonable). Gina and rest of the front desk speak English which is helpful for those of us with limited Spanish. They were very helpful with restaurants, buses, etc. We will definitely stay here again if we are in La Paz.
Cons: Nothing to mention.
Good 6,0
Pros: Friendly staff, convenient location
Cons: The rooftop bar was closed, as was the restaurant - so there was no way to see the view out over the water. There was a very loud generator run at 6am both mornings, making it impossible to sleep even with earplugs.
Okay 4,6
Pros: Location
Cons: Too noisy with cars driving by throughout the night with radios blaring. Taxi drivers or others outside hotel loudly talking through the night. Asked for a quiet room for a good nights sleep and ended up with noise. Housekeeping only left a small hand towel in bathroom discovered after exiting the shower. Waiters in morning, inclusive breakfast with only a muffin, OJ and coffee could not seem to be bothered with an additional order for eggs so I left and took my business elsewhere. Will not be returning to 7 Seas Malecon, La Paz. Very disappointing and hope to sleep better this evening at another hotel. I travel a lot and normally don’t write a review, but this bad experience warranted it.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Good value & location
Cons: No mini fridge
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Comfy beds and central location
Cons: Can’t think of a thing
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Outstanding chef Mariana and dinner waiter, the reception, Gina is the best greeter and make you feel like home, Cesar one of the best in class courteous and helpful I’ll come back any day without a doubt
Cons: Don’t change employees
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Our balcony overlooked the Sea of Cortez! Higher floors have less street noise. Convenient to great restaurants on Malecon! 5th floor restaurant is awesome for sea view, sunsets and sunrises! Staff very competent and accommodating!
Cons: Loved it all!
Excellent 8,3
Pros: This is a very nice hotel in a great location. It was clean and the staff is very friendly.
Cons: When I booked this hotel I didn’t realize it was Carnival!!! Sooo........if you’re looking for quiet and relaxing this may not be the hotel for you since you can hear EVERYTHING that’s going on in the streets.
Okay 5,7
Pros: Location and comfortable bed.
Cons: It would be better to close the restaurant than to run it so poorly. It would be helpful if they had some English, were not lazy, knew how to mix drinks, and were generally aware of their customers.

Pros: Great Staff.
Cons: Our room was rundown, poor maintenance. Hot water didn't exist and wi-fi didnt work.
Excellent 8,8
Pros: Lovely friendly place to stay. It feels very safe & cozy. Nice on site restaurant and bar, with beautiful views over the Marina. It is a gentle 10-15 minutes walk to the main hub of Las Paz with many nice restaurant bars along the way. Our room on the third floor had a coffee maker, modern working tv, hairdryer & lovely comfy beds. There is a laundry room on site, nice pool & heated hot top....what more could you want!
Excellent 8,0
Pros: Staff was very attentive and the location was great.
Cons: It was a bit dirty, pool, room and restaurant was infested with fly's.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Everything!
Cons: Nothing!
Excellent 8,0
Pros: It is a very well kept property. The rooms are all updated and really comfortable.
Cons: The included breakfast was supposed to start at 7:00, but hardly anything had been put out for the buffet and what was that was completing cold, not even warm!
Excellent 9,1
Pros: Staff were super friendly and very very helpful. Bfast was amazing!
Cons: Internet was intermittent, slow from our rooms.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Everything
Good 6,0
Pros: Breakfast buffet was the best thing about our stay. Various and tasty options. We liked it a lot!
Cons: AC did not work. Safe did not work. You have do make a deposit of MXN 500 at the reception to get the TV remote control - but they don't tell you that - we found out about it after searching for 10mins. They were doing maintenance work at 8am in the room above us! Were not able to sleep long because of that. They also kept doing so until 10pm! We wanted a coffee and a muffin, so went down to the restaurant and all we got was a bad tasting muffin and cheap coffe from a machine and got charged MXN 130 for that! Pillows were not that comfy.
Okay 5,4
Cons: I didn't like the beds & bathrooms to small, buffet terrible .

Pros: Great price, friendly staff.
Cons: Distance from center of things, be ready for walking, or pay for (very cheap) taxis.
Good 6,7
Pros: Great breakfast, nice surroundings, free shuttle to the airport, ample parking.
Cons: WiFi was slow...
Good 6,0
Pros: Nice pool, good walk along boardwalk into town.
Cons: Not the hotels fault bit a neighbor blasted music all night. Staff were very accommodating and were able to move us after request.
Excellent 8,0
Pros: Good location, pretty grounds, very good breakfast
Cons: Many flies around pool, no evidence of any dirt/garbage/etc to cause this, but enough to disturb sitting at pool.
Good 6,3
Pros: Room was clean and beds were comfortable
Cons: There were hundreds of flies, and it was not accesible, we had to climb our baby stroller three stories each time we went to our room
Excellent 8,0
Pros: Excellent breakfast included, helpful staff, complimentary shuttle to beaches, comfortable rooms, quiet location.
Cons: Location across street from waterfront provides no real view, and it is a 15-20 min walk to central La Paz. But this is what makes it quiet. And it is still a great value.
Excellent 9,0
Pros: Liked the buffet breakfast
Cons: Our refrigerator was very noisy when it started and stopped.
Excellent 9,2
Pros: Includes a full breakfast, on site parking and a BBVA ATM

Pros: The room and property was very clean and as-advertised. We also had a great relationship with the host who was very communicative and provided great info about the surrounding area. We loved our stay and will certainly recommend this property to others.
Cons: Everything was excellent. We look forward to returning!
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Food was fabulous. The hospitality made the Hacienda Paraiso exceptional. The owner, Richard, went out above and beyond.
Cons: Nothing.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: We had a wonderful week-long stay at the Hacienda Paraiso! The property is lovely, everything from the breakfast and swimming pool area to the rooms is decorated tastefully with Mexican craft. Richard was the most attentive host, he was very flexible and accommodated us when we needed to make last-minute changes to our stay. He also organized a walking trip to the desert with Benjamin which we cannot recommend enough! We got to see many fascinating plants and animals, as well as rupestrian paintings and human artifacts over 7000 years old! Conversations with Richard and the other guests over the delicious Mexican breakfast were another highlight. Finally, Richard had many great tips on what to do in the area, from shopping to dining to finding the most beautiful beaches. We cannot wait to go back!
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Wonderful breakfast. Warm welcome
Excellent 9,6
Pros: Host great, facilities were amazing
Cons: Shower water pressure non existent, water temperature on cool side.
Good 7,0
Pros: Nice quiet ambience
Cons: It is quite a walk to the central malecón - 20 mins The breakfast was a bit stodgy.
Okay 5,8
Pros: The host was very informative about things to do in the area, but a bit pushy and it would have been nice to settle in before inandated with what he told us we should do.
Cons: First morning our car was locked in garage and owner left with key. Owner sat with his feet resting on table before breakfast. When we returned in the afternoon the smell in our room was so fowl we couldn't use the AC.
Excellent 9,6
Pros: The owner was so nice with us, very helpful all the time. The hotel is beatiful and cozy! Great place, I totally recommended!

Pros: Property is clean, friendly staff. Room service is very good and front desk does a great job. Definitely coming back!
Excellent 9,2
Pros: Big rooms, quiet location, and wonderful staff! It’s a bit far from the Malecon but you can still walk there if you don’t mind the exercise. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Great spot to stay in La Paz, would highly recommend!
Good 7,0
Pros: Breakfast was very good. Staff very helpful and friendly. Beautiful view of beach and sunset!
Cons: The balcony door did not lock and the door to the upstairs loft also did not lock. Area far away from shops and restaurants and not walkable at night. Noisy construction next door and noisy building on property.
Okay 5,8
Cons: Given the trip advisor rating I expected more from the property. It was tired and worn on the heels. It would do well to implement a maintainers program. Additionally they should throw out old furniture or store until repaired.
Poor 1,0
Pros: Well this tough. We tried to shorten our time there because we unhappy, but we were not accommodated by the hotel.
Cons: The room was in disrepair, the furnishings would be refused at most second hand stores, and the location is not near anything
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Staff was great!
Excellent 10,0
Pros: The breakfast was very good and the dinners we had were fantastic. The service was excellent! HECTOR was our favorite waiter. He was fantastic! We also enjoyed the view from our balcony, and the sunsets.
Cons: The gym is closed at certain times and I was very disappointed to not be able to use it, for example, on Sundays or in the evenings. Some people like to work out at night. If there is a gym in a hotel, you should be able to use it everyday you are a guest. We pay to use the gym everyday we are a guest. There is no reason to close the gym.

Pros: Location is great with a private beach All rooms facing beach All staff friendly and helpful
Cons: Room was very dated and worn. Paint and tile in poor condition. Bedspreads stained and worn out Couldn’t eat outdoors due to flies
Excellent 9,0
Pros: Staff was friendly I'd stay there again too bad its not all inclusive.
Cons: Everything was good only thing missing in my opinion would be a microwave in the room/ rooms. Staff was helpful when asked for nearby stores.
Okay 5,1
Pros: beach front location
Cons: beds, bathrooms, lights not working, clogged shower heads, drain covers not secured.
Good 7,1
Pros: Great pool. Cool Asian inspired theme. Nice staff. Okay beach. Clean. Good view. Next door to the dive shop, so very convenient for divers and snorkelers.
Cons: Very small room could barely move. Messy beach. Not great food. Nother great fresh air circulation in the room. Windows don't open, but there is a small deck with a sliding glass door, but a broken sliding screen door.
Excellent 8,3
Pros: Good price and good location
Cons: The rooms need updating but overall it was nice and clean.
Excellent 8,2
Pros: Beach, location and food
Cons: Broken glass on beach, they should not serve beer in bottles.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Comfy king bed in a room with an excellent view (129) tv has 4 English channels. 2 wonderful restaurants - - one at the water edge. Staff were a 10!
Cons: It is an older hotel - upgrades on going. No noise issues.
Good 6,0
Pros: price
Cons: small, outdated, beach is nasty
Good 7,7
Pros: The private beach on the cove was fantastic. Shuttle to the Malecon daily. It’s was easy to book excursions through the front desk.
Cons: WiFi is only in the lobby, bar, and restaurant. Walls are paper thin and you can hear everything going on outside and around you! Restaurants do bar were mediocre.
Excellent 9,0
Pros: Beautiful location. 2 lovely restaurants and outdoor bar onsite. Incredible margaritas from the bar. Swimming with whale sharks. The resort was better than depicted in pictures. Incredible view from room. (Room 129). If you have a car, definitely stay here!
Cons: Poor wifi. Had to walk to far end of beach to swim due to shallow water and rocks.
Okay 4,0
Pros: This time, nothing!
Excellent 8,0
Pros: We had a one bedroom king suite. There was lots of room, the bed was firm and comfortable. Shower was good. Sufficient closet space. Wifi excellent! Small but adequate fridge. Food in restaurant excellent. We did not go to the separate waterfront restaurant because the hotel one was good and a better price. Atmosphere around the complex was very calm and friendly. We could easily catch a bus, Uber or taxi to the city or many beaches. We could also walk to Playa Coromuel and the start of the La Paz Malecón.
Cons: Pool was too cold (February) for us. Water supplied for drinking was pretty minimal. Staff could have provided more information about transportation options. We had to google for answers and even then some was out-of-date.

Pros: Beds we're comfortable. Great location.
Cons: A few English speaking TV stations like CNN would be nice.
Excellent 8,8
Pros: there’s a collectivo and cinema opposite the hotel.
Cons: it’s 30min walk from the malecon.
Good 7,9
Pros: Very pretty older hotel. It could’ve been more well-maintained but it was still in excellent value. Surrounded by nightlife but it appeared somewhat unsafe. Secure parking mitigates that
Cons: Location wise somewhat unsafe.
Good 6,8
Pros: Overall aesthetics were nice. Room was clean and Beds were made. Staff was very polite.
Cons: Grime and calcium buildup in showers. HARD bed. Hotel Smell.
Okay 4,2
Pros: Unwelcomed when i arrived, and bathrooms are horrible and old
Cons: Leaving
Good 7,5
Pros: The rooms are spacey and clean. The A/C worked great, comfortable beds, the staff's service was very good and there is room for improvement. Lobby and common areas were clean. Breakfast is a good idea but wasn't included in my package with booking.com, so I had to pay separately. All the staff acknowledge you on the premises or greeted you. Overall experience was good.
Cons: The shower is above the floor level and where the platform meets the wall, there is a hole or it broke. It needs attention so the room doesn't look abandoned. There are no hand towels and the sink is across the room's hall, it will very helpful to place a hand towel by the sink and avoid the guest that inconvenient. I was assigned a room on the third floor and the button to call the elevator didn't work, so you had to go down the stairs to the second floor to get on the elevator (big inconvenience specially if you are handicap). There are no black out drapes and the doors to keep the light from coming into the room don't close, so if you want to sleep late or catch a nap, good luck with it. The safe deposit boxes didn't work on both of the rooms that I stayed in and there were no instructions to use them. The staff at the desk is good but could do a better job at selling their product and make the clientele captive.
Excellent 8,3
Pros: Next to the ford dealer and plenty of food options within walking distance
Cons: The bathroom wasn’t very clean and the lights in the shower did not work
Excellent 9,2
Cons: There was no phone on the room to call front desk...

Pros: Their service was great and the staff is incredibly friendly. After a long trip, we slept in a bit and almost missed breakfast, so they offered to bring it to our room - way above and beyond! Two beds and two baths made it super convenient for the two of us. It is less than 100 yards to the water with lots of great restaurants there - local, friendly, filled with fish and tequila and mescal. The marina is about a mile away and well worth a visit, plus another great restaurant with wonderful service. They had a special tequila - a hand-written label with the serial number and such - that they let us have after we finished the bottle. That is a special gift for a special someone. All of the services you might need are within that 1 mile walk, which is a promenade for everyone - there are lots of folks who walk that in the evenings and it is a great place to view sunsets. The resort was beginning to fill up with Holy Week (Semana Santa) vacationers, and there were families enjoying the pool. Kids having fun is the universal feel-good medicine! They have a washer and dryer on site for $5 with laundry soap, and a garage for your vehicle if you have one. I highly recommend Las Gaviotas to anyone looking for a relaxing comfortable place to stay.
Cons: The occasional car horn or dog barking - almost not even worth mentioning since it did not bother us at all.
Mediocre 2,5
Cons: We are really disappointed, after reserving 5 days we just stay one night, everything in that place not even a resort were broken, bad attention, plus not refound..the owner who attends the place kept all the money...not even a percent of the payment wanted to refund. All around the place was dirty, brokend and old. And couldn't believe was rate with 9!!
Excellent 8,0
Cons: They never seem to be able to find our reservation when we check in. I also feel like the way they handled breakfast "We're not cooking for our guests anymore" was rather dismissive and unfortunate. Otherwise we love this place a lot; the location cannot be beat.
Good 7,9
Pros: I liked the closeness to restaurants and stores.
Cons: It is older and some parts aren’t kept up. It was hard to open and unlock the main door to get into the hotel.
Excellent 9,2
Pros: The view is wonderful. Close to The Malecon restaurants and shops. Very peaceful, quiet and secured.
Cons: Furniture, refrigerator and TV in room too old needs and upgrade. Pool was a bit dirty when we arrived.
Excellent 8,8
Pros: Linda the owner was wonderful. She made us feel really welcome. She helped us book a boat trip, and she made each breakfast feel like a personalised service. On check in she immediately organised an extra bed for our 3rd child (most hotels can't be bothered). She recommended some good things to do in La Paz. The rooms were big and comfortable with all the kitchen facilities you could need and breakfast was good. All the staff were friendly. The location is great, just a 1-minute walk from the main seafront and all the restaurants.
Cons: We enjoyed our stay, but a few things could have improved it from a great stay to a superb stay. The room cleaning was a little sub-par. It looked like the apartment could do with a really good spring clean. For example, there was mould behind both of the bathroom sinks, and on the sink plugs, and if we went bare feet in the apartment we would have black soles within 5 minutes. One time my sons nappy (diaper) leaked a little overnight, so we left the sheets pulled back so they would be changed, but the maid just put them back on. The next day we had to throw them on the floor to get them changed. A few times we left the shower mat on the floor to be changed because it was dripping wet (the shower was so powerful it squirted out of the shower curtain onto the shower floor) and instead of replacing it, the shower mat disappeared. We also had a puddle in the bathroom from the shower that was not mopped up in 5 days. On the one time we saw the maid clean the room, she spent less than 10 minutes in the 2-bed apartment which is probably not enough to give it a thorough clean.

Pros: Location, location, location. Accommodating staff. Huge Balcony!! Water pressure and hot water were fabulous in BOTH bathrooms.
Cons: Noisy. Just a Malecon thing (take the good with the bad and take earplugs). We also had a slight hiccup with our lock which was partially fixed at a rate lesser than anticipated. Our only real complaint.
Okay 5,0
Pros: This property is close to the maleacon and walking distance to lots of good restaurants. It does have a nice balcony with view of the ocean where we enjoyed gorgeous sunsets. We met one of the owners, Linda, at one time and she was very friendly with recommendations about adventures.
Cons: As reported by reviewers everything is really old and outdated and fatigued and dirty in appearance: the curtains, the upholstery , paint etc. It's a shame really because it's such a potentially awesome place. The place appeared deserted I think we were the only ones staying there. The owners live on the top floor but nothing is regularly staffed. You can ring for someone to come help you. We had to change our plans because of the coronavirus and they said they would refund us our last night. SO far it has not happened.... I'm hoping they do as we have left now.
Okay 5,0
Pros: The location is convenient . Staff is friendly but takes them forever to get to the front desk
Cons: The furniture is outdated. Front desk never had anyone, always have to ring the bell and it takes them couple minutes to get there. Fridge freezes everything. It is dark and dingy in the room. Pool was not a heated pool as stated in the ad. Construction next door which blew debris to the pool.

Pros: Was a cheap hotel I needed for one night and close to the bus station
Cons: Found a pubic hair in the bed so the sheets hadn’t been changed
Good 6,0
Pros: It was handy to the bus terminal and the Malecon. The staff was helpful and polite. It was very affordable.
Cons: We had a room on the street, with an ocean view, which was very noisy. The bathroom had a strong smell of some kind of cleaning chemical. We checked-out early...

Good 7,5
Pros: Location and room and staff were great. But it was $140 instead of the $45 as it said on Booking.com. This should be clarified!
Cons: The fact that it was not even close on description or price! Very deceiving when you are counting on the accuracy of the description, location and price! Had to spend $100 more than expected!!! No Bueno!!!
Good 7,5
Pros: Breakfdt included, large space.
Cons: The owner was very pleasant but not thar accessible. Accommodation was spacious ,good for a family but needed some TLC. It was OK for the price but had expected a higher standard as experienced in the main building where I stayed 10 yrs ago.
Mediocre 3,8
Pros: Towels were clean and there was ample toilet paper.
Cons: Filthy. And neglected. Used to be my favorite place for several years. So disappointing. Pool was empty. WIFI out of service. TV broken. Dust on all surfaces. Dirty walls. Batteries missing in 2 a/c remote controls. But the worst part is the owners do not care!!! We reported the issues to them but they completely ignored us! The husband was especially rude and lied about the WIFI. He told us to use the WIFI in the lobby of their other property around corner. He also said the WIFI was going to be fixed in the morning. It was not ever fixed. We paid 2 nights, so we stayed, but we will never return.
Excellent 8,3
Pros: Simple, clean, nice owners. A very simple Guest house with comfortable rooms on a side street one block behind the waterfront Malecon. Walking distance to everything.
Cons: Can't think of anything.
Excellent 8,8
Pros: The breakfast was terrific. We really enjoyed the delicious food and visiting with other travelers while we ate. Our room was clean and comfortable. The check in process was smooth. We really liked the location which was quiet but just a short walk from the action on the malecon and seashore.
Cons: The pool area in our facility was rather neglected. However, the nice pool at the sister facility was made available to us.
Mediocre 3,3
Pros: Good location to Malacon, friendly staff.
Cons: Overall property and rooms were very worn, in poor condition with many broken items and dirty (spider webs/nests, dirt on floors, counters, etc.)
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Great location and wonderful hosts
Cons: Shame the hot water in our room wasn’t working!
Good 6,7
Cons: No hot water!
Excellent 9,6
Pros: The staff were sweet and the breakfast was good
Cons: Checking in was hard
