Msida has narrow streets, especially near the city centre. When hiring a car from the Msida car hire companies, consider hiring a compact or mid-size car to navigate the narrow streets easily. Hiring a compact car will allow you to fit into small parking spaces, as Msida has limited parking spaces, especially downtown. Using a compact car will also help reduce fuel expenses, as you can visit various locations and take long drives while using less fuel.

Typically, the speed limit in Msida is 50 km/h (30 mph) in residential and built-up areas within town and on main streets, while it’s 80 km/h (50 mph) on open roads. Check for road speed limit signs, as they may change over time. Msida has a network of speed cameras throughout the city. Therefore, ensure you drive within the set speed limits to avoid potential fines for speed violations.
