Upon arrival at Enterprise to pick up vehicle not vehicles were available and had to wait for an hour for a vehicle to arrive. The vehicle had 1/8 tank of fuel upon arrival necessitating an immediate stop for fuel.4,8 Mediocre

George was very friendly and efficient.Cons:
This location is only open 3 days a week and has 1 person working alone. Although he was able to do it all by himself, he needs help. The wait was long and no more cars were available by 10am. I had to go to a separate location to pick up a vehicle10,0 Wonderful

Absolutely nothing. This location ruined my vacation after telling me that they couldn’t rent convertibles from this location, even though I rented the car back in April (trip was September). Tried giving me a “deal” by not charging me extra for a “better” car.Cons:

Second time in a row I make a car reservation and they don't have cars available. And second time in a row, I get lucky someone "just dropped car off". Nearly ruined my family vacation. If I have a confirmation from Budget, I expect car to be waiting on me. Rental price is very goodAvis

Cons:
The problem was with Kayak not Avis. I made my flight reservations from Newark to Memphis using Kayak for an American Airlines flight. I then made a reservation to rent a car right after I made the airline reservation. Kayak found a deal for $70 was great. When I got to the airline rental counter in Memphis airport I was informed that my reservation was at an Avis 10 miles away but my return destination was the memphis airport. If I wanted a car at the airport it would be $360 for two days. I advised them I booked through Kayak and they said this happened all the time but they could not change the price. I did not accept the car or sign a contract yet Avis now has a pending charge on my credit card for $360. I have filed a complaint with Avis and they said it should clear in 24-48 hours, well it hasn't. I blame this on Kayak and I have serious reservations about using your service again.7,6 Good

All was good except for the cleanliness of the inside windows. The fron window, rear view mirror and passenger side window were dirty. Looked like they had been sprayed with something and not wiped off. Almost impossible to see out side window.4,0 Mediocre

I rented a car online, but it wasn't a car at the site. The representative called other sites but no one had a car. I was offered a minivan which would've cost me more in gas than what I would pay for the rental of the vehicle. The 3rd party company should know what each facility has available so this will not happen.2,0 Poor

Nissan Pathfinder was a comfortable SUVCons:
We arrived to pickup our prepaid fullsize car and they had none available. Told us we could go to another location 30 miles away to pick one up or wait for it to be delivered to the location we were at. We had time for neither. We requested a free upgrade given they had our money and no car. That was denied by the agent on site and Manager over the phone. We ended up paying for an up grade but then it took another 30 minutes to find one that was clean. They were going to give us one that a customer had just returned that had a sensor that kept coming on and then one that had a nail in the tire. Rude people over the phone and at the counter. Over an hour later we left. When we returned the car a week later. They were closed at 11:30. Suppose to be open until noon. We were told over the phone by customer service that again we could take the car to another location to drop off or leave the car and US bring the keys back on Monday. We said no to both and they said they would send someone to open the office. We waited over 30 minutes then left. We left the car on the lot and have the keys since there is no drop box. And I will fight this battle Monday. NEVER AGAIN will we rent from HERTZ!10,0 Wonderful

The young lady who waited on us at both on pickup and return was very friendly and helpful. She was so busy yet still so pleasant. We were given a discount that we didn't even know we were eligible for. The car got very good gas mileage and we would definitely use them again.Cons:
It was very busy and the young lady was having to answer the phones and wait on all the people. We felt she is very overworked and deserves some sort of reward. However; she never seemed overwhelmed or lost control of any of the customers. It was a very good experience for my husband and I. We just felt very sorry for her.9,6 Wonderful

im a hertz gold club member, and booked with Hertz at lest 12-15 trips. i've never had an issue until this rental.Cons:
the rental pickup location didn't actually have an operating Hertz lot anymore. i had to fight rush hour traffic to get there, only to find this was the case. Customer service was a challenge at first. I had to speak to 3 different people to finally get to the online rentals rep. she honored my rate, but i ad to drive an extra hour out of my way to pickup the car. I was given a Prius, when I ordered a midsize vehicle. i assume this was how the airport location made up for the difference in the daily rate.
