Opting for a smaller car, such as a compact sedan or hatchback, is ideal for maneuvering through the narrower streets often found in the city and its surroundings. These vehicles can easily navigate tight spaces and provide better flexibility when parking, especially in busy areas like Nang Thong Road and around popular attractions. Moreover, choosing a smaller car can prove more cost-efficient in terms of rental fees and fuel consumption, helping you to save on expenses.

Major routes like Phetkasem Road, which connects Khao Lak with other parts of Thailand, might have higher speed limits.
