The last 3 times I have tried to book with Kayak, the program has either changed the date or location of my booking. I will never use Kayak again.

I accidentally placed an order for a car at a different hertz 25 minutes down the road. I thought I had ordered from the hertz by the airport. The rep I was working with wanted to help me but didn’t know how. It is also of note that the place 25 minutes away, closed at noon, and I had a 1 pm pick up. So even if I made it to the correct place, I would have still been out of a car. After the rep roamed the building for 15 minutes trying to find out how to help me he came back and told me I had to call the 1-800 number, that they couldn’t help me. I called, and every time the automated service would hang up on me. I was in town for a wedding, and fortunately a friend was able to come pick me up. While I waited, all the reps yelled to each other about looking forward to getting drunk that night, not once asking if I needed any help. Hertz should change their name to Hurts.

Staff are so rude.Very bad experience, very dirty and nasty inside.First safety, vehicle have lots of problems, without checking and any service, they put in rent and have shows lots of mechanical issues, on way driving, and this is very worse experience I get from hertz. I will never rent any car from this Hertz, and will never recommend to my friends and family.

E wry thing was tops. From check in to return. Chris was awesome. He explained everything. He Showed me the features of the can. He Gave me his hours in case I needed anything. Just really extended the customer service. I’d rent here again. BRAVO!!

The person that processed my transaction was friendly and efficientCar smelled like tobacco smoke and windshield was very dirty. Otherwise, everything was just as expected. The Corolla was comfortable.

They were excellent! I screwed up and showed up at a different location from where I made the rental reservation. They straightened things out, got me a car—even though they had a long line of people renting vehicles—and even matched my initial rate for me! They turned a near catastrophe into a successful trip.Really, not anything. They were helpful, professional, and friendly.

Patrick was very friendly.I think I could have saved a little more if I had used the 30% rentalcars.com offer that was in my email; but, I ran out of time to change my reservation. On 2/4, I paid $136 for a one day rental, St. Louis, MO to Hickory, NC. On 2/10, I paid $36 for a 2-hour rental, Lynchburg, VA to Richmond, VA.

The vehicle was fine, Budget’s service was terrible!Car was clean, late model, ran well, no issues with the vehicle.The employee morale at the St Louis Airport Budget is terrible! Not one “hello” or smiling face during the entire car rental experience - both renting and returning. Things started at the airport with the Budget shuttle driver yelling at an elderly customer who was having difficulty boarding the shuttle. When we arrived at the service counter(shared with Avis rental car), we were met with a long line, we have no issues waiting in line, but since the counter is shared with Avis rentals it was confusing to figure out which side to go...as it turned out, there’s only one line, but a simple sign or a door greeter would have been nice as many other customers were just as confused as we were. When we finally made it through the line and approached the service counter, I was checked in by a “Manager” who already looked annoyed, he mumbled every word he spoke and got visabily angry with me as I kept asking him to repeat himself. He didn’t have a speech impediment, I just couldn’t hear him speaking to me over the other customers and representatives. He whispered something to the representative sitting next to him while he could not find my reservation, at one point he handed me back my Govt. CC and ID and told me someone else whould finish helping me as he was going to take his break. I finally got the rental vehicle which ended being $110 more than the quoted price, I called the 1-800 number to try to figure out the price difference but gave up after being transferred several times, I had already taken possession of the vehicle, so I had my doubts they would be able to do anything about the price anyway. On return of the vehicle, we were once again met with a confusing experience, there was a rental return sign pointing to several lanes already full of returned vehicles, I had to weave my way through several lanes until I thought I found the right space, I stepped out of the vehicle and waited for an attendant to check the vehicle back in. After not being acknowledged for several minutes, I walked across the lot to ask another attendant what to do, he suggested that I just leave the vehicle and I would get my receipt emailed to me. I’m familiar with the car rental process at airports, I travel frequently for both work and pleasure. I’ve never had such a poor rental experience previously. This appears to be an employee morale problem much larger than a few disgruntled workers.

My husband and I traveled via Uber to Enterprise for a car we had reserved online. We never got the car because: We couldn't use a debit card(neither mine nor my husband's even though the cards are from the same bank); I don't drive but my husband has a valid license; when I called a utility company to text me a photo copy of my latest 'paid' gas bill; enterprise rejected it because his name wasn't on it; he does not have utility bills in his name. I offered to pay cash to no avail. Finally when we had exhausted our options, we were stranded and it was too late to try another rental agency so we caught another taxi home. Enterprise discriminates! I am seeking other horror stories about Enterprise too post.

I requested a car from STL Airport but you gave me a car that was at a different and didn't realize until shuttle took me to airport location and they gave me a price almost two what you quoted. The allocation said the location I had to go their by cab as their shuttle would not take me there and also that maybe it would be closed by the I got there. It was very chaotic and stressful.

They didn’t have my rental at all. I never got a car . They said the price was not what they charge so they tried to get me to do the reservation over to pay more money for the car. They didn’t Honor you all’s prices.

Horrible, need my money backThe enterprise that kayak selected to use was not the same location that the airport takes you to with their shuttle. Therefore I had to rent a completely different car from the airport enterprise or try to figure out some way to get 40 minutes away where the reservation was. Kayak should know that the airport shuttle does not go to the location that was selected and that it would be extremely difficult to get there without knowing a lot about that area. I didn't get to use my kayak reservation and because of kayak I had to rent 2 cars essentially and only used one. Please don't waste my money and refund my reservation.

Wrong enterprise locationThis Enterprise was 40 minutes from the airport with no shuttle. The airport shuttle took us to the one in Berkley that was 5 minutes from the airport and had the shuttle. The taxi alone would have been more than the car rental

a little slow...but flexibleI made a reservation without realizing I it was for a location other than the international airport location where I was arriving. It took a long time to get to the desk upon arrival. Once I got to the desk, I found out my mistake. To complicate matters, it was on Thursday before the Easter weekend. The other location was 30 minutes or so away. The rental agent gave me the price for a new reservation at the airport--but it was almost double the price of my reservation. After several minutes and a final request to see if the rental agent could do ANYTHING to help me, he found a rate that was $20 higher than my original reservation. I really appreciated that!!! Sometimes slower is okay. Thank you!If I could have gotten through the process faster, I could have spent more time seeing St. Louis...but as mentioned...I made the reservation mistake and Avis/Budget helped me out.

cost more money at pick upcar was clean that's a bout itWas not the same price as quoted by you said that we were at Wrong Avis pick up it said airport pickup got there said it was another Avis I asked how mmuch it was here my quote was 141 they told me to 299 but said they can put us in the car for 210 pounds $70 more then what I got from you then he said we can take the shuttle back to the airport and catch a cab to the other Avis dealer I was not going to pay and take up more time to do that so I took the car will never use them again should have went to Enterprise I coulD of got a full size car for the price I paid for this little one what a ripoff
