  • Costa Teguise is a resort town on the eastern coast of Lanzarote, in the Spanish Canary Islands. It’s a great place from which to explore this side of the island, visiting all the little coves and interesting tourist spots that aren’t as busy as the main resort areas in the town. This makes car hire in Costa Teguise a very convenient choice to make, as it will afford you the freedom to do this at will. The most popular beach here is Playa Del Jablillo so if that’s what you’re after, make it your first stop. For a quieter day at the seaside, drive a little further south to Playa El Ancla. By crossing a short causeway by car you can reach Castillo de San Gabriel, a 16th-century fort built on its own tiny island.
  • The main airport serving the town is César Manrique-Lanzarote Airport, which is a mere 15min or so away. You will be able to collect your Costa Teguise car hire right here within a few minutes of collecting your luggage and passing through customs. You’ll find them very easily as you walk out into the arrivals hall, directly opposite you, close to the terminal building exit.
