They never gave me a car because when I got there, they told me that they did not have any cars available when I had a reservation in hand. And I got charged for insurance without a car. How ridiculous is that? RC cover better return my money

They did not have a car available and I had to pay taxi to go to their location. Very rude people. They did not want to identify themselves when I arrived at the off airport site. No rep at the airport. It was very disappointing and misleading. I was stranded at the airport and had to book a car with New Look at the rate of $ 225.00 per day for a small SUV. I am requesting my FULL REFUND.

I believe Avis does not really operate properly in Haiti. I had a very disappointing experience: I went to their location around 9:30 AM and waited until 10:00 AM, but the manager had still not arrived. Someone told me there was an agent at Cap-Haitien Airport, but when I went there, I found no Avis representative either. Even though I left my name, phone number, and reservation details, I never received a call back. This shows very poor service, and I was extremely disappointed. I cannot recommend Avis in Haiti—especially in Cap-Haitien—unless they make serious improvements or replace their current staff.

Even though I had a reservation for 3 months but when I got to the place they said they didn’t have a car available. I had to go to a different car rental company and pay more because I didn’t have a reservation with them.
