Kayak did not inform us there would be a large charge for returning the car to another site.
Self checkout took over an hour and a half and involved 5 separate support calls, and 2 on-site staff before we finally had a car. The car we got wasn't what we booked and was smaller than our original booking.
Their kiosk was broken for self check so I had to commute quite far to another location for car, pay for bus tickets with no compensation. Then, when I there to drop off the car, the staff was incredibly rude. I simply asked to use the restroom that was for employees only and they said absolutely not, that I could walk to the nearest gas station 1 mile away.
I tried to request a refund because the location did not exist. I tried many times to find it, had several people (locals) help me, and no one knew where it was. So, I had to use another agency, since I don't think the address listed was correct. I would really love a refund since I was unable to get my car.
The kiosk where you pick up the vehicle is not easy to find. After asking several people where it, it was broken, had to take a cab to their office 2 hours later and then 4 hours after getting to the kiosk finally got the keys to the car
Identification of Hertz pick location in Bergen on your web site was very poor. Signage of the pick location was next to non existent. A petrol car was ordered but an electric car was provided, without notice and without recharging instructions. The Hertz pickup kiosk did not accept my Australian drivers licence. This necessitated an extended telephone call to your staff. The car Cruise control did not work. We had great difficulty finding a recharge service that worked for the Hertz vehicle
