Fumba Beach Lodge

the area where the hotel situated are calm out of the crowds. the sea view from the pool and the restaurant is awesome

the breakfast is very average. being in the tropical island one could expect a lot of fresh fruites. istead they serve kind of continental european breakfast with bread and cheese. Very strange. The evening meal is quite the same as the other hotels affering - buffet but again if you are on the ocean side with lots of fisherman around why not to offer to your guests wide choice of fresh fish and sea food. Also there are lots of monkey around the villas. they are very active during the night wich makes a lot of noise. The beach is nice but not the best. The staff in the restaurant is ok but sometimes too much annoing to hear from each single person: jambo, how are you my friend. If you are looking for a relax and calm atmosphere that did not help you at all. And on top of all above the price of the hotel is very expencive compare to the same or better level accommodation in Zanzibar (we been spent the other days in 4star and 5 start lodges and pay more then 50% less expencive).
