I didn't take into account my husbands disabilities and it was very hard for him with no lift and the distance from room to reception.
Staff at breakfast were nice. Free parking at hotel.
Poor mattresses, squeaky springs, outdated rooms, thin walls - could hear everyone who walked through the corridor. Careless staff, I asked for room keys to my room when I left them in the room, to friends rooms and to a storage room where people were storing wedding luggage and no one even checked it was my room/who I was and whether I should be trusted. Not safe from a security perspective, especially as there was many people attending weddings and had valuables in their rooms. Shocking and a waste of money. No net curtains in rooms either, so if you want some daylight, everyone can see right through your window. It wasn't fun getting ready with the curtains closed!
The property itself was lovely and they had a great bar.
Placement of the tv was so far from the bed and due to the L shaped layout of the Executive room we had, when I sat at the desk to do my makeup, I couldn’t see the tv at all. The bed felt like two beds just pushed together and could probably do with an update in mattress. We had gotten back from a wedding late at night and felt so hungry that we thought we would order from the 24 hour menu, however when we tried to order, there were no porters available, no one was there to make any food. We went to bed tired and hungry so generally unimpressed with that whole experience.
Excellent Indian restaurant on site
