The room stunk of sewage
Great location, discounted offer through booking.com was a bargain. Friendly staff. Room was clean and comfortable.
Ground floor was very noisy in the morning. Both in the corridors and facing the car park. There was a coach outside with engine just running right near window. Wouldn’t be a problem normally as up and out, but only planned to stay Sat night and intended on sleeping in. That did not happen.
Breakfast was good , bed comfortable and clean .bathroom floor not very nice and toilet flush doesn't work at all well .staff very nice.
Staff were helpful and friendly.
They were renovating the hotel while letting some rooms, so not the best atmosphere, but staff were friendly and efficient. Bathroom toilet had noisy units attached. You could hear them going off during the night. Bed was creaky.
Location and value for money. Good value breakfast. Handy for RICC where I was attending a meeting. Staff friendly and helpful
No working radiator in room (although an efficient electric convector was quickly supplied). Impossible to have a shower, The non-thermostatic shower was either scalding or cold. The shower rail fell down. No shower gel or shampoo provided - unusual for an hotel these days. May have been in small print but if it was I missed it.
