The location is perfect. Right in the middle of the beach and the downtown area. Everything is within walking distance.
The room was supposed to be a non smoking room but the smell was terrible. There was hair left in the bath tub. Everything smelled like smoke, the bed, the towels, etc. The parking space is very small and the valet person clearly hates her job.
The hotel is right off of State Street which makes visiting all of the shops very easy. This is the perfect location for visiting downtown, the funk zone, and the beach.
The hotel's excellent location comes at a small price. The garbage trucks, traffic, and voices of people walking along Haley street can be heard clearly at all hours of the day if you get a room along Haley street.
there was dogfood on the carpet as if the carpet has not been vacuum.
The staff is very friendly and helpful. The free breakfast they offered far exceeded my expectations. Parking was easy and the view from our room was beautiful! Free WiFi, and the room had a fridge and microwave. The bed was very comfortable.
There was one window in room 312 that would blow open if there was a strong gust of wind, even though the window was latched. It's just an old building, but it's still really nice.
The staff was very friendly and helpful.
rooms were clean
The room was nice and it was very close to the main strip where there is tons of food options. For the price this is a nice hotel that actually has some history dating back to the early 1900s. For a Holiday Inn this is a very beautiful building.
I wish it had a pool or jacuzzi, but for the price and location it was still very much worth it. The rooms are a bit small but all of the hotels in Santa Barbara have tiny rooms unless you want to pay upwards of $--- a night. Very comfortable though!
Great price, very clean and a great location. Everything within walking distance if you are staying in downtown Santa Barbara.
Location and friendly staffs
Suggestion: that will be perfect if other breakfast items add to the buffet bar such as potato and French toast.
Hotel employee was great and very helpful. Liked that it was close to the wharf and state street.
The bathroom showers. Why is the shower door only halfway- it caused water to go outside the shower and onto the floor. Also breakfast was subpar.
We had a terrible experience at this hotel. The bed was uncomfortable and the room was very noisy, despite being at the side and not facing the street.
