Friendly. Simple. Was exactly as expected.
Cheap decor, cheap mattress, loud AC. For a few dollars more I could have stayed down the road at a better motel.

Utilitarian in Storybook Sonoma County
I’ve lived in Sonoma most of my life and moved away to Oregon but needed to come back to take care of some things. I’m a widow and have a cardiac issue that’s really slowed me down and my income decided Motel 6. I liked that they cleaned the room nicely for me while I was gone for the day and yes I left a tip. I was delighted that my room key worked every single time and I never had to get it reprogrammed! Or whatever the word is. The young men at the front desk were delightful who checked me in—totally smart and upbeat kids. I like interacting with young people and learning about their world. (I have a couple young people on loan from the universe—my young adult children). I liked that it was fairly peaceful there and in picturesque Sonoma County. The ice machine works.
There’s not a lot to complain about. It’s the basics. It’s not more though.

Dry dirty
Poop on the wall, multiple different hairs in shower, we stripped a bed because perfume was dropped on the comforter from previous customer and we told the front desk. Housekeeping put the same sheets and comforter on. Had to strip bed and bring everything to the front desk.
